Horror Scene

Jade’s team need to give this a big push while the iron is hot. Today’s Top Hits, US radio adds… EVERYTHING.

Spotify commented on her TT post: @Spotify: not to be dramatic but this is a cultural moment 🪽 Can they actually support her now???

Just submitted my votes. Anonymised comments: 01 Yet another incredible song from them. A bit of a powerhouse. 02 One of my faves played by them. Also something a little bit different for them. 03 This was a great discovery. Definitely preferring their more recent choices to their earlier ones. 04 Also really good, just doesn’t appeal to my tastes as much as the top 3. 05 Oops I think this is the clear rank outsider in this category. Overall a really strong round for the Solo Males.

Omg Robyn is gone. 🫢 Her mentor has done a brilliant job with her. Hope they’re okay.

Another list of discoveries for me here. Though TV Dinner I may have heard before.

Well it’s no shock that I don’t know any of these lol.

Could Tom wheel out It Can’t Be Christmas this round? It’d be interesting to see how a Xmas track fares in this.

Just having a look now myself. I could see Adele going for either Cold Shoulder or I'll Be Waiting. Looks like Hometown Glory just misses the threshold lol - though maybe her mentor is saving that for the single treatment at the end? 👀

Shoot From the Hip is due some exposure. Hopefully Mixed Up World gets played at some point.

This theme is potentially great for Sophie. I can imagine she'll have a few 00s deep cuts under/around 100k streams as well as her orchestral and live versions of hits.

Omar trying to flip the narrative?

All 5 votes on Harry! He needs to go out of those 4.

Hopefully we hear if she’s been submitted for anything soon!

Cheiron votes in!

Oh wow this is incredible! I hope it properly smashes for her on a global scale.

Omg Zara! I think she was always going to struggle with that line-up of songs. Another Swede down. 😭

Top 2 are interchangeable tbh. 01 Tom Grennan - Little Bit of Love definitely one of his strongest songs - love the chorus particularly on this. His voice sounding amazing as usual too. 02 Darin - En apa som liknar dig I love the fun pop vibes he brings to this category and this is another example - love that final minute especially. 03 Sam Fender - Will We Talk? can this man put out a bad song? Another really strong track from Fender here. Consistent king! 04 Gary Numan & Tubeway Army - Down in the Park another enjoyable track from Gary - just doesn’t quite compete with the top 3 for me. 05 Calvin Harris & Disciples - How Deep Is Your Love this has never really done much for me tbh. Radio overplay definitely didn’t help lol. 06 Naughty Boy feat. Sam Smith - La La La one of those songs I liked a lot back in the day but find rather grating now. Also can’t abide that chorus vocally or lyrically - sorry!

Angel Of My Dreams jk FUFN

Fantastic news!!

01 Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Murder on the Dancefloor how could this not be top? A concrete classic! Never gets old for me. Her best song imo! 02 Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights not usually a huge fan of Kate but this is a stunning song. Great move playing it now! 03 Robyn & Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat have really grown to love this after not caring for it originally. Robyn sounds gorgeous on it. 04 Zara Larsson & MNEK - Never Forget You actually sounding better than I remember. Can’t quite compete with that top 3 though. 05 MARINA - Oh No! not bad but far from being my Marina fave. I think something like Primadonna might’ve been safer but can also see why that would be held back lol! 06 Adele - Skyfall never liked this tbh. Sorry!

I hope Philip gets the edit he deserves tonight!

Lentyll could be Malevolentyll.

Yeah Zara, Marina and Adele seem like the half in danger at first glance. That run of Murder, WH and With Every Heartbeat is killer!!
