Leona Lewis won the previous year's X Factor, after having duetted with the newly reformed Take That at the final, and her coronation single A Moment Like This knocked the group's comeback hit Patience off the top spot soon after. Fast forward 10 months and they go head-to-head again, with Leona's power ballad Bleeding Love released the same week as Take That's song from the Stardust film, Rule The World. It ended up being an exceptionally high sales week for 2007 standards, with Bleeding Love debuting at #1 with nearly 220,000 copies while Take That also sold a huge 97,000 copies to debut at #2.
