Martine McCutcheon was busy shedding her Tiffany Mitchell persona; having scored a #1 single and a #2 Platinum album the previous year, she kickstarted her second era with I'm Over You. Ricky Martin was also following up a breakthrough era from the previous year, with She Bangs leading second album Sound Loaded.
