  1. To answer scene’s question from the previous thread, Better In Time went gold this year, so that is her most recent gold certified song.

The streaming ratios have now been changed, so there is one ratio for streams from paying accounts (1:100) and a different from free streams (1:600). Where this will be on ACR as far as we’re aware, the streams will be taken as 1:200 and 1:1200 for chart purposes. The positive of the new rules is that the total streaming figure now also include video views as well.

Really good that the song is getting over 500k global streams a day at this point on Spotify. Being on the big playlists from the get go is paying off. Would love to see One More Sleep chart in a few more countries outside the UK this year as well.

So OMS will be her fifth hit over 400k? Or has Happy passed 400k too? Must've done about 240k by the end of 2009.

Thanks guys for all the stats and chart info. OMS going from 100k to 500k in a matter of 2 years on Dec 2nd is promising for its classic status. :teresa: If streaming is here to stay for a long while yet (where else can music go?!!) maybe OMS could get to 1 million within the next 10 years.

  2. Thats what I thought when I seen the list, His winners single probably won't even be that bad for him either, All pretty good choices for him.

Anthony to shock everyone and take the win

I actually have a horrible feeling he will steal it. If Dalton wins, he'd be the first black solo male to win the show, and the first foreign act to win as well. All seems too good to be true. At least we'd be spared of another James Arthur hit. :kink:

  3. Oh God Anthony's choices don't sound too bad for him. I'm not a lover of producer manipulation but he needs to be well and truly thrown under a bus this weekend. Him winning would be a complete joke. Even in XF's worst years for talent a great act always triumphs - Anthony beating either Dalton or Scarlett would be worse than the Leon/Rhydian controversy imo.

Dalton having the only ballad for winner's single looks good for him and will help him stand out. Scarlett x Leona is going to be a real moment for me! Move over Bey and Alex - it's time for a new diva duet. :teresa:

  4. 2006 for me. But I started listening to Hit40UK on Invicta FM not realising the chart wasn't official. 2007 was a great time to be an active chart watcher with older songs able to re-enter through downloads. I have a distinct memory of Rihanna entering at #1 two weeks before the CD release of Umbrella and it was a big deal at the time.

Vote for your favourite Number 2 to 10 Leona hit.

    -x-

Happy for me. Resonated so much with me at the time (still salty about BEP beating it to #1 ) and definitely is her best video to date. The twist!

  6. Leona will duet with Scarlett on Sunday's X Factor (providing Scarlett makes it through Saturday) and might release the duet as a single if she wins! A Dalton/Scarlett top 2 would be a win-win situation!
  7. 1. Good Girl Gone Bad (Umbrella, Shut Up & Drive, Don't Stop the Music, Disturbia, Rehab)

    2. Loud (Only Girl, S&M, California King Bed, Man Down)

    3. Talk That Talk (We Found Love, Where Have You Been, Birthday Cake, Cockiness)

    4. Rated R (Russian Roulette, Rude Boy, Te Amo)

    5. Unapologetic (Diamonds, Stay, Pour It Up)

    6. A Girl Like Me (SOS, Unfaithful)

    7. Anti (Work)

    8. Music Of The Sun (Pon De Replay)

  8. Blasphemy!!!

I just can't see it. The gap between 21 and 25 was 4 years, 10 months. I think the gap between 25 and A4 will be a bit shorter but that still takes it into 2020.

  9. I can appreciate 2B1 but it has never been one of their songs I would choose to listen to. Too Much however holds up so well even 21 years later. From the intro (also used brilliantly as the intro to their film) to Mel C's powerhouse vocals!
