  2. Blasphemy!!!

I just can't see it. The gap between 21 and 25 was 4 years, 10 months. I think the gap between 25 and A4 will be a bit shorter but that still takes it into 2020.

  3. I can appreciate 2B1 but it has never been one of their songs I would choose to listen to. Too Much however holds up so well even 21 years later. From the intro (also used brilliantly as the intro to their film) to Mel C's powerhouse vocals!

    9 tips for '19:

    ONE: Adele will release nothing.

TWO: Beyonce will release a less successful/worse rated album then her previous two.

THREE: Rihanna's lead single will reach #1.

FOUR: Dua will launch DL2 between July and September.

FIVE: Ariana will gain another #1 through a feature.

SIX: The LM5 era will end abruptly and Little Mix will head back to the studio.

SEVEN: Lady Gaga makes a triumphant pop return.

EIGHT: JLS announce reunion (depending on the court verdict).

    NINE: Ava Max blows up.

4 real moments on here! I wish she would've substituted OHN and IWICBCE for Santa Claus Is Coming To Town and Jingle Bell Rock though.

As we're approaching festive season, it's time to get some more activity on this forum. So simply vote for your favourite CWL track - excluding Christmas Classique One More Sleep.

My vote goes to Mr Right. Forever hoping Leona re-releases the album one Christmas and Mr Right gets an amazing music video/single treatment. Will never happen though. Shout out to Baby Please Come Home too!

  7. I remember getting this album on Christmas 2008 and being obsessed. I'd choose Sasha Fierce over I Am... solely because of the Sweet Dreams, Scared Of Lonely, Why Don't You Love Me? holy trinity. That said, If I Were A Boy and Broken Hearted Girl are two of the whole project's standouts. The era without question elevated Beyonce into new-found territory - with the SL video and XF in the UK - with both IIWAB and the album repeaking weeks after their debuts. If I remember right, the single debuted at #2 weeks before it reached the top and IASF debuted and peaked at #10 originally!!
  8. I think any big label knows Cheryl’s music career isn’t going to achieve the same heights as it was. I’m sure her last actual radio hot was ‘parachute’. I don’t recall hesring any of her music post that on the radio regularly.

    Call My Name?

I do agree with your general point though. I don't think there is a public appetite for new Cheryl music but then I don't think she's firmly in archive territory either. All comes down to whether this comeback track captures the public's attention. The label doesn't sound promising.

  9. If this got an X Factor, Strictly etc performance it get net Lady Gaga her first UK number 1 since Telephone went all the way in 2009.

    *2010.

Cowell will hopefully be aware of ASIB's success and pull out all the stops to get Brad & Gaga on the X Factor final performing Shallow and I'll Never Love Again.

  10. I think 2019 is a little too early if we are to go by the gap between 21 and 25. Her team might schedule the album release around the 2020 BRIT's/Grammy's rather than chase the pre-Christmas sales. It'll sell big regardless.
