W is for Work. Two ladies of Pop/R&B released a single titled 'Work' in the late 00s to varying degrees of success. Kelly Rowland's Work, thankfully remixed by the Freemasons, earned her another top 5 hit in January 2008: her biggest UK hit as a lead artist at that point in terms of longevity. Ciara dropped her own Work just over a year later, serving as the follow-up to top 5 smash Love Sex Magic, and the third single from her third album Fantasy Ride. The song failed to set the charts alight, peaking at a rather dismal 52. While the song has been praised as one of the albums standouts and is a fan-fave to some degree, it has also been criticised for being too similar to previous Ciara/Missy Elliot tracks. Friday Night from her debut is such a bop. I think that could’ve been a worthy fifth single from the era, same with F**k You from her second album.

I know he’s a bit of an enigma but something seems a bit off with how he just ditched music after 2 critically acclaimed highly successful albums. Like WTF!

It’s ridiculous only Sam and Nancy are up. Jenny and Caroline really should’ve been up as well and to have a double eviction. But of course Caroline is being saved by the producers yet again.

Other than the Halloween episode with the old Slaters home video, Zoe’s return has fallen a bit flat for me. It’s crazy Michelle said for so long she would only return if the script was strong yet this is what we’ve got…. hopefully it’s heading towards something magnificent but I’m just not sure. Ideally, we will see the returns of Chrissie and Sam to have the three witches of Walford reunite again. 🙏Chrissie could return with Jake (he would surely want to visit Alfie at some point) and Sam returned not long ago and has a son on the square so it isn’t out of the question. IMO it would be utterly stupid to finally have Zoe back and not capitalise on it with Chrissie and Sam back, especially with Vicki on the square (and Sharon if she returns soon).

As unlikeable as Sam is, I think he was well within his rights to nominate Tate for that. P.s. Teja for the win!!
