CHART BATTLE REWIND Chart battle #2 now and it's the battle of the producers - Timbaland and Mark Ronson. Both were at the top of their game in 2007 with Timbaland producing the previous year's huge sellers Loose and FutureSex/LoveSounds while Mark Ronson found acclaim through his work on Amy Winehouse's Back to Black. Timbaland teamed up with Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado for diss track Give It To Me, apparently aimed at Scott Storch, Fergie and Prince(!!), while Mark Ronson collaborated with the then-upcoming Daniel Merriweather for a reimagined version of The Smiths' Stop Me. Give It To Me won the chart battle, but neither seem particularly remembered these days. While Timbaland's commercial success in his own name is very much contained to 2007, Mark Ronson of course had the most enduring success with huge hits well into the next decade. Well FUFN needs 6.3 million in 80 days. That's 79k streams a day on average. Considering IT girl is still doing around 70k a day I think it's possible! Now if everyone can start streaming Midnight Cowboy her Top 5 figures will look very strong all in 8 figures.

Holding steady at 43 on Apple. FUFN did 408k on Spotify yesterday! (both versions now combined and still a 200k day-on-day increase!) If it keeps on increasing, surely only a matter of time before it recharts on Spotify.
