Glad You Came was a bit of a bop, despite that basic af chorus melody. I think The Wanted’s true ‘all time low’ was Walks Like Rihanna. An abomination to say the least.

I think it was more The Wanted vs JLS initially as 1D would debut a year later. Am I right in saying All Time Low wasn’t actually Radio 1 playlisted before it reached #1? I have a vague memory it was down to Capital hammering it/other factors. Another unlocked memory of that chart week is Billionaire possibly being cheated out of a #1 by either (a) a botched early release or (b) a fake version charting (which was very common in 2010 lol). I can’t remember which scenario it was but I remember pre-release, Billionaire being almost guaranteed to hit the top based on pre-orders/hype.

I never tire of hearing Better the Devil… even if it does seem a bit out of place here. Don’t Let Me Get Me is one of Pink’s best for me. That intro is just so distinctive and the LA/Britney lines are iconic and helped set her apart from the other female pop stars of the time. Never liked These Words - never knew it was so loved here! Not a patch on Single, Unwritten or POS for me.

I remember becoming so invested in Alexandra during her season on ‘that show’ - the way she went from bookies favourite pre-Live Shows to being firmly least favourite in her category for the first 7 live shows, then to turn it around with an emotional performance of Listen. Then THAT duet! Such a shame her potential was never realised. Start Without You is trash though. I absolutely stanned California Gurls/Katy at the time but it quickly got boring. As you said Iz, it’s a shame her one UK #1 from such a behemoth of an era (momentarily ignoring the deluxe) is arguably the weakest of the 6 singles. That singles run from Teenage Dream to TOTGA was flawless!

Crazy In Love was my summer ‘03 obsession! The song, the video, Bey’s dancing on the pavement and then with the giant fan - the amount of times my little gay self tried to recreate the video. It’s become so overplayed though I don’t get much enjoyment from it. Phenomenal solo career-launching single (if we forget Work It Out momentarily).
