    Well whatever. Glad she done well. Good to know but can we go back to iTunes discussion. The Leona talk is boring just like she is (musically).

     

    Don't try to start an argument. You know there are lot's of people who love Leona in this thread.

     

    I'm sure you wouldn't like it if people repeatedly slagged of Rihanna or GaGa (i don't do that anymore :kink:) ^_^

     

    If there was any criticism in this thread directed at artists, at least make it constructive ;)

    Have they opened a store on the moon? Hasn't she only sold around 200k in the joint American & Japanese markets & she hasn't topped the album chart or hung around for ages in the smaller countries. So where exactly have those non UK 900k sales come from?? :unsure:

    That doesnt make sense, as leona's second album has sold more than alex's debut album even though its been out a month later and has had a lot less promo so far..so you have no sense to your point..AGAIN.

     

    That's one thing i don't understand. Many people consider Leona a flop regarding her second album just cos of it's American performance - which still went to #13. But she has already sold 1.5 million copies of it worldwide, 600k of it in the UK and Happy has sold over 200k. That is not a flop. I Got You isn't doing too good but that is one single. Plenty of artists have them. Leona was bound to have one in this download era (songs available from album release).

     

    Facts are facts and Leona has sold 600k with an 'underperforming' single, which is the only single so far. Alexandra has sold 500k with technically 3 huge singles (bar BH which was a moderately successful one).

     

    I really like Alexandra but she'd be lucky if she got the sales and chart position that Leona got with this album - which hasn't got all it's sales yet.

     

    And i'd like to add to the more off-topicage that i hate how brits feel the need to knock british successes down when they are hugely successful.

     

    And Tacticz, stop saying Eco is a flop when it's not please :) If it sold 60k then you could but it is by no means a flop and comparing it to Spirit is crazy. Rated R is then a flop in your eyes compared to GGGB. But in sensible people's eyes it isn't much of one. Judge it on it's own performance.

    I think it'll just sneak in the top 40 of the official chart by the end of the week. But then I'm to optimism what mm83 is to pessimism!!! ;) (mm83 I know you're reading *waves*)

     

    I guess so. And even if it doesn't make the top 10, it's hardly a flop. It depends on the sales and longevity. It might be a minor hit. I guess it doesn't stop Beyonce (Broken-Hearted Girl), GaGa (LoveGame), Rihanna (We Ride, Rehab), Kelly C (where do i start? :() or Pink (Nobody Knows, Funhouse).

     

    And Tacticzz, it definitely isn't te end of her ;)

     

    Btw, i'm loving the BEP video and Fergie even more :wub: I personally think Meet Me Halfway is their best video. Fergie in the amazon (i think it is) is just classic :wub: x100000000

    Is the album version of Fireflies the one you get on the TV channels?

     

    I might have to buy it again, because the UK radio edit is awful. The first chorus makes the song so much better.

     

    I think the one on music channels is the single mix/radio edit. The album version will be the original surely.

    Rehab is so good it derserved top ten. :) Rihanna should have released her 305723406726th single from GGGB which should have been Breakin' Dishes.

     

    While Rehab was a strong album track (like most on GGGB :wub:), it should never have been a single. It deserved top 20 imho. It did get very boring rather quickly for me. Breakin' Dishes or Cry should have been released. Cry <3 all the way :wub:

     

    GaGa might be using the piano for the Telephone intor (hello hello baby....) :)

     

    That's what I'm hoping for anyway.

     

    But performing it without Bey would be wrong imo. Bey totally makes the song (imo). :wub:

    "I Got You" will probably be to Leona what "Broken-Hearted Girl" was to Beyoncé. Only this is her second single, not 305723406725th. :x

     

    If you think a 305723406725th single is bad, let's not mention Rihanna's Rehab :lol:

     

    RE: The BRITs, i think GaGa will do Speechless and the piano-to-dance version of Poker Face a la American Idol.

    I don't scream like a girl when Lady GaGa, who I adore, is going :up: with Telephone. It's rather annoying than exciting.

     

    btw - I think that song won't go Top 5 anyway if I'm being honest.

     

    Again, as i said, i connect so well with Le's music so i'm gonna be happy it's moving up. And how is ' :yahoo: ' equal to screaming? :huh: Look back, you'll see similar posts regarding Taylor Swift and Lemar.

     

    And if you're that petty that it annoys you, then i really don't care ^_^ and will keep on commenting how i am. Ignore me if you're that bothered.

    You seem to have a problem with most things i say regarding Alex and Leona. I support Leona a great deal and i'm proud this song is rising.

    Yay. Although i hold a grudge against them for denying Happy of #1, i do love them. Wish Missing You was released instead though :(
