01 Sophie Ellis-Bextor – Bittersweet infectious electropop Sophie at her very best. I adore the verses especially. Definitely deserved top 10 hit status. 02 Agnes - 24 Hours one of Agnes's very best songs for me. sounds timeless to me and her voice..! Love! 03 Jessie Ware - Hot N Heavy easily my favourite Jessie song so far! Giving me HAIM vibes in parts. Great chorus too. 04 Adele - Chasing Pavements I love a bit of old-school Adele. This song has grown on me so much over the years. Nice to see Adele cover all 4 albums already. 05 Zara Larsson - Can't Tame Her a bit of an earworm! Really strong choice from Zara here. Possibly my favourite of her selections so far! 06 Kate Bush - Cloudbusting another good song from Kate albeit lacking a wow factor for me. 07 MARINA - I Am Not a Robot oops never been a Marina fave of mine and listening to it again it's just not hitting the mark like the songs above. 08 Leona Lewis feat. Avicii - Collide I've always wanted to like this more than I do. Leona's voice is ofc incredible but the song itself is basic and a little flat. 09 Robyn - Keep This Fire Burning this is ok but left the smallest impression compared to the rest - sorry!

We need David Guetta and Kelly Rowland cast next season.

Yes BDC sounds great on first listen! His and Fender's choices complement each other well this round actually!

"JADE at the BBC" when?? Also I wonder if this song will be eligible for the Emmys. 👀

Agnes, Adele and Sophie!! All among my faves of their respective back catalogues. And although I haven't heard that Zara song in a while, I remember it being a bit of a bop! Marina has also played a big fan fave so she should be fine this round. Robyn and Leona's choices are a bit underwhelming for me this round but maybe better to play them sooner than later?

Only know Cannonball and I'm Not the Only One from this batch! Great to see a ballad played from Sam and possibly my fave of theirs. Not familiar with the rest on first glance.

Oh my I actually know some songs here! Black Eyed Boy takes me right back!! Sanctify is my favourite Y&Y song so the bar is high for the others!

I have a rule: light mode for laptop, dark mode for phone.

Oh she sounds STUNNING!

Marina should send Orange Trees next to give the other girlies a chance.

Submitted also and not second-guessing this time.

Yay a Bop Idol win!! Thanks all who voted!! ❤️❤️❤️ And thanks Rollo for running this edition. Really enjoyed this one!

189 CAN'T HELP MYSELF ALEXANDRA SAVIOR I discovered this track while looking through movie/tv soundtracks on Spotify and stumbling across the Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen OST. Sounds gorgeous to my ears.

Which song were you going to send out of curiosity?

Wow thanks for the points all!

Thanks for the points everyone who sent my way! ❤️ I loved that Xtina track ever since it came out so this theme felt like the perfect opportunity to send it. So chuffed to see it leading atm.

Yes February release with a BRITs performance.

Marina has finished in 2nd three weeks in a row now! Calling it now, she’ll be fighting for the crown at the end. Also Lewis going out with a 2pts difference feels so cruel!

Reminds me of Outkast a little.

Yes I know which one you mean. Hopefully it stays unbothered for a while.

FUFN.

Can't wait to see the voting figures - I reckon both the Males and Groups to be close at the bottom. Predictions for top of each category: Leona, Sam Smith, Depeche Mode.

Great to see Christina and Aqua as the top 2!

Hoping for another top 10 finish! Good luck all.

Omfg!! I did not expect Lewis to be out this soon! Honestly thought it was going to be between Tom, Gary and Damien.
