I don't hate Taylor Swift at all, I love her song Anti hero, I stream it loads. What I don't like is chart manipulation, imo it's not a new album and my mind won't be charged by anyone. When Ed Sheeran does it, people complain but when it comes to Taylor Swift you can't say nothing. I guess she could always get some signed CDs in again. When Leona Lewis released a deluxe version of Spirit it wasn't classed as a new album even though it had new songs and a bonus DVD. It's one rule for one and not the other. That is what I'm complaining about.

That has to be the most disillusioned thing I have ever read, anywhere. I don't know how old you are but you clearly wasn't around when Madonna was at her peak, to say that shows how crazy you Taylor Swift fans are. There's no point conversating with you swifties as you are called, you all live on disillusioned road. If you read about Taylor Swift anywhere else, they are saying how bland and plain she is, and how rubbish she is, just like her fans who look gormless. In 100 years who is going to be talked about, Madonna or Taylor Swift, whoever says the latter needs medical treatment.

Agreed, at least Madonna didn't have to resort to these dirty tactics to get her number one albums. And Taylor Swift will never be in the same iconic status as Madonna no matter how many number one albums she gets by nefarious means.

I have no problem with it being number one, just not classed as a new number one, it's a rehash of the old album. Nefarious tactics which shouldn't be allowed.

The most talentless, blandest, nobody with another fake album at number one. The two albums should be combined, not classed as a new entry. Total manipulation of the charts, no wonder nobody respects the UK charts anymore.

I totally agree with you about the GH albums, every week they are in with fake sales. The charts are laughable and thankfully I only look at them once a year.

I'm actually a fan of Steps as I have said. I just think it should be a level playing field for all artists, I don't care if that means sales would be low, at least they would be real, but if you lot want to believe in fake sales, then suit yourselves.

Of course it's sales inflation. If 1000 fans buy 16 variations that's 16,000 'sales' it's fake as f*** and totally misleading and it's pathetic that some of you can't see otherwise.

No, not fair. What would be fair is to only have, 1 CD, vinyl, cassette, download and streaming to contribute to the charts, not 16 variations to inflate sales, so it's fake and you won't convince me otherwise. If it sells 20,000 copies, people will assume that 20,000 different people bought it, not 10,000 fans buying all the variations, so it's fake and if you don't see that, you're either lying to yourself or you're stupid.

Nope, if hardcore fans buy 16 variations of the same album, then it's manipulation and it's a fake number 1. And Madonna only has a 1 and a 3 CD and some vinyl. It's fake, desperate and underhanded, just like Taylor Swift and her signed CDs. Popular artists like Adele don't resort to that. Watch it drop like a stone next week.

I don't look at the charts or post very often but I had to this week. Although I like Steps, I really don't agree with the manipulation of the charts just to get a number 1. They have like 11 editions of their album, so basically it's a fake number 1, yet again. Madonna is hardly going to go and do HMV signings. The charts are fake as hell. I believe only 1 CD, vinyl, cassette, digital download and streaming should count towards the chart. No wonder no one cares about the chart. Such a shame, they were great once.

It was chart manipulation of the highest order, those fake signed CDs should of been disqualified, Abba was robbed of a genuine second week at number one, not that the Taylor Swift stans on here would agree, they're silent this week though with her dropping like a stone hahaha

I don't agree with that either. As I said in a previous post; the charts should only include; 1 cd, vinyl, cassette, streaming. No signed for CDs, certainly not 30:000. Only people that agree with this are Taylor Swift stans, who complained when Ed Sheeran did it 🙄
