  2. I agree that the song seems to be overhype by those who are writing the US articles! At the same time I wouldn't say it's a minimal return, as it is gaining similar streams from USA as from UK, we just don't see those! There was also an article stating she has 2.8m USA listeners compared to 2.2m UK's. That means it has its market and contributes a lot to Kylie's tally on streaming! And being a minor hit on the radio should help her album sales outside of typical Townsend's figures hopefully.
  3. Given that ‘-‘ underperformed, with little gap between his albums, Ed having a passion towards the charts and ‘Tension’ driven not only by her fanbase, but also by a big hit — I don’t think Ed will put out the album on the same date as Kylie. It’s more likely a big USA rap name releasing on that date, but it won’t manage to gain enough streams in the UK, and Kylie never has a chance of a number one album in the USA anyway.
  4. Tbh judging by the big gap between March / April dates, it could very well be the UK or European leg of the tour in between!
  5. 10 more dates, all the way until May (!) but with big gaps @1691169444779945985 I start to get concerned about how the tour is going to go.
  6. I find it amusing that even on ACR ‘Padam’ is charting higher than its Spotify position would indicate. Just shows how much Spotify lets it down compared to the other platforms.
  7. Yo también! This time not going with a Spanish entry though. Very different vibe to the previous string of songs I sent! Have an amazing aftobeats track, but I'll hold it for a while or indefinitely, as the previous aftobeat tune I send has flopped badly lol.
  8. Airplay Kylie. Pretty much the usual markets for her tbh, but still nice to see it on one map! More nice stats from here: https://blog.chartmetric.com/kylie-minogue-...anthem-success/ From the article: And most impressively, the U.S. (2.8 million) has now overtaken the U.K. (2.2 million) in terms of Kylie’s monthly Spotify listeners. So USA is the solidified key market for her now! Again, we don't see her in the main charts there, but the size of the market still allows her to generate a lot of streams, sales etc.
  9. Midweeks of Ryan on Facebook Midweeks (7th August) 51 (39) Padam Padam Sales: 2,369 (-27%) Yesterday's sales: 829 (no59) Digital: 355 Streams: 1,997 Streams total: 381,470 Videos: 42,185 So gonna end up in the 50s this week!
  10. So AltEgo did another mash-up, now with Peggy Gou’s Nanana and again CGYOOMGH https://vm.tiktok.com/ZM27aKkVS/ That might explain why CGYOOMH is now doing 400k+ streams daily on Spotify!
  11. Padam is up big to 53 in Netherlands! 66 in the UK but with streaming gradually down on the previous Friday.
  12. The difference is ‘Unhealthy’ was already going down quite fast from the peak of its popularity, and the album release made the drop milder. By the time of the album release ‘Padam’ will be mainly generating passive streams and be stable. Also worth mentioning that Anne-Marie’s album got less streaming sales (2,825) right now than DISCO three years ago (3,040), despite the inclusion of even ‘Baby Don’t Hurt Me’ — people on streaming platforms just weren’t interested enough in her album. That said, I agree that we shouldn’t necessarily wait for a huge climb for PP on streaming, unless single 2 takes off too and generates big interest for the whole album. Will be exciting to watch how it’s going to go!
  13. Interesting stat: 100M streams overall for Padam Padam! I wish they shared stuff like this more, maybe I should write them lol. @1687544888693321728
  14. So Padam getting an 11th (and most probably last at very least until the album release) week in the top-40 and entering a very narrow circle of Kylie singles having more than 10 weeks in the top-40. Kylie singles to have more than 10 top-40 weeks I Should Be So Lucky - 13 wks Especially for You - 12 wks Can't Get You out of My Head - 20 wks Wow - 15 wks Higher - 13 wks Padam Padam - 11 wks. There are a few singles on 10 weeks though: Got to Be Certain - 10 wks Kids - 10 wks 2 Hearts - 10 wks All the Lovers - 10 wks
  15. I checked Netherlands like last Friday and it wasn’t there!
  16. I’ll post this nice xeet tweet with 50M reached by the main Padam. :D @1687183463722491905 This year has been very fruitful for this milestone, the next to go should be Get Outta My Way early next year, or another track from ‘Tension’ if it really takes off. And of course we have Can’t Get You out of My Head to reach 400M very by the end of August, +100M in just a year.
  17. BOOBA GRANDE posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Thank you for your job again! Tbh at this point we need a recurrent chart for YTD/year-end chart too  I’d love to see this chart without the oldies to highlight the music released in 2023.
  18. I'd LOVE that! Hopefully Tension provides her a smash (even if a 'smash' in Kylie terms of this day) we think it is. Voted 2 still, as I don't want to not meet my own expectations.
  19. I get your point completely and I think the release should be moved to Friday. However, I don’t think we can count all of the 1st day sales into the next week, as it will effectively count 8 days of sales into a 7 days week. I think the more fair assumption would be to add the first Thursday’s day of sales and deduct the second Thursday, excluding the extended mix from the site of course, which would have sold on Thursday regardless. Still it would probably have been around 500-700 sales higher on the first week than it was.
  20. For overall sales purposes ACR doesn’t work, so I’m sure it’ll sell around 17k this week to bring the total to around 223k
  21. From the very same Facebook group — the weekly and total sales up until last Friday. Final Chart 16 (14) Padam Padam Weekly sale: 18,113 (-4%) Total Sales: 206,548 Digital: 1567 Streaming: 16,544 Was close but it went the wrong way, oh well! Also 206k total sales, woo!
  22. So apparently it could last several years? (With breaks presumably) https://www.express.co.uk/entertainment/mus...as-vegas-demand They add the Spinning Around singer will not just be Voltaire’s opening resident but the club’s “First Lady” over many years in a deal which could be worth tens of millions of dollars. A Vegas source confirmed: “Kylie has been hands on with Voltaire and this residency for three years with a view to making it a long-term home.
  23. Right now for a top-10 you essentially need around 5K on streaming, it’s a big mountain to climb, even off one big hit, this is why I conservatively went for 4-5K and top-15. But hopefully the single 2 becomes at least a minor hit in itself, and the impact track during the album release will have a full effect on ‘Tension’s streaming tally.
  24. I just hope she comes to LATAM, specifically to Mexico 😭 I mean Mexico City is her third biggest listening city on Spotify for a reason!
  25. Hahaha flop thread! But I’ll bump it with the second single release. I personally went quite cautious with 4-5K streaming and top-15 for now — but I hope for bigger of course. And I also hope they spend some coin on the Spotify boost. For instance, you can send mails or pushes to whoever listened to at least two tracks from the era (including remixes etx) or listened to more than q certain amount of times. A lot can be done and I hope they’re okay spending some $€£ on it!
