  1. Jax Jones remix starts with 43,751 plays. Padam up another 855k though. Now on 28m.
  2. Well in the UK it is getting lower streams for the second week in a row now, and WW it started to fall too. But probs we still might see a new streaming peak WW today.
  3. So it has definitely peaked on streaming, but what a run we had! Interested in the opening figures of the Jax Jones remix.
  4. I think it would be sensible to drop the remaining remixes on week 9, hope for it to be enough for an increase and then move on to single 2 on week 12-13.
  5. ^ I really don’t get their system, how does it work? Was it specifically *sent* to the pop radio stations?
  6. Now time to pay it back and add to ‘Today’s Top Hits’, since it’s firmly above 750k per day now
  7. I kinda hope they do something like this with Kylie’s single number 2. I mean this single is peaking and has already done extraordinarily well, but they need more (even if minor) hits to send this album into another league of sales. Meanwhile 812,020 plays on Spotify yesterday! Up 91.5k on the previous Tuesday. Looks like we are in for the new peaks this weekend!
  8. Digital sales are down significantly, but I was very surprised how well they were holding up all this time in the first place. It might have peaked, but given that it is still rising week-on-week worldwide on Spotify, I won’t count it out yet.
  9. Yesterday: 774,539 streams. Last Friday (when it always got big boosts): 768,383 streams. So Thursday’s streams of yesterday beat the last Friday’s streams and are only 7k shy of the Saturday’s peak. It may have stalled in the UK, but WW it is still on the upward trajectory. Will be extremely surprised if she doesn’t cross 800k today (on Friday)!
  10. Voted fall, I think we will see her at 10-11, unless streaming picks up significantly again (Spotify, I’m looking at you <_< )
  11. ^ people stopped buying and are streaming, there’s no way around it! If anything, it would be artificial to change the rates of streams from already 600:1 / 1200/1 ratio for free streams per sale if anything. The ratios seem fair. And each time Kylie is several placer higher than her position on streaming would be (this time it helped to be at 8 instead of 10), so all is fair. I would change the chart rules however to make more room to the newer tracks, but that’s another story. And what is definitely in the need of a fix is the album chart streams. We actually might see a very short run for ‘Tension’ despite ‘Padam’ being a hit, because the pure sales are super front-loaded for everyone, and the streaming may dive fast below all of the ‘Best of…’ and other playlist-driven albums.
  12. I really feel they should give the stars / awards depending on how many billions of streams the artist has reached. Say, the función would be 2^x or by Fibonacci numbers. Say, 1 billion = star 2 billion = 2 stars 4 billion = 3 stars 8 billion = 4 stars Etc. This way it would make much more sense.
  13. Happy with 8 even if it’s its peak, which is possible looking at the recent streaming progress, it has done very well and has done wonders for Kylie’s streaming reach already! Also very impressive it shifted 3k pure sales on week 5 without any boost from the fans or new physical formats!
  14. I never thought this was in contention after I saw a number 54 debut on Spotify and especially the fall out of the top-200 the next day. The top-10 threshold is just too big at the moment. I’m actually impressed it landed as high as 11! But yeah, looks like the next week’s drop is going to be painful.
  15. Despite falling a bit in streams Tuesday-to-Tuesday in UK, it still grew Tuesday-to-Tuesday WW from 660k to 720k! So not all is lost for sure. Tomorrow's update will be interesting. And now it is on 20m streams on Spotify (20,048,629 to be precise), it took her 19 days to reach 10m streams and 15 more days to reach 20m streams.
  16. 760K tomorrow hopefully? And almost definitely 20m overall!
  17. Yeah, great questions from the presenter, and he studied the real deal about her, love it. But I can already feel a collective sigh of people while hearing that she’s gonna shoot two more videos with Sophie Muller.
  18. I think it’s gonna grab around 500k by the end of the year. Hard to tell though, as it is still gaining on streaming and could be more. I voted 71-80, but seeing that 500k would fall under 51-60 section, my current prediction is 51-60.
  19. The way it goes I can definitely say it’s a big possibility and with PP easily being not only gold, but platinum within a year or so! I mean it will have reached ≈100k after 5 weeks with streaming still gaining week-on-week! To get to gold by the end of the year she will only need to sell averagely 11k per week, which is very achievable at this point.
  20. Oh, these sales of 37-38K for ‘Higher’ and ‘Please Stay’ are very big for their respective positions!
  21. I’m actually happy with 33, as going down to 54 two Sundays in a row from 44 and then 34 made me worried. And I’m sure I’ll make up most of, if not all, of the ground in tomorrow’s update.
  22. On TikTok in the last 8 days the main version is up to 10.3K + 0.4K from 6.2K + 0.3K. And the mashup with ‘Head’ is up to 16.7K from 13.9K videos. The mashup slowed down, but the main version is going steady! Overall 27.4K videos now, which is not bad at all. Also up to 12.4M monthly listeners on Spotify after the whole month of PP release, which is roughly 50% up.
  23. On Friday I voted a very specific non-mover, and it is quite likely it will shape up to be one! Leigh-Anne is unfortunately out of the Spotify top-200, Peggy slid down a bit on Spotify too and is way behind on other platforms. So I can see Kylie overtaking David Kushner and being overtaken by Hannah Laing. Still need an eye on Peggy though, but even if Peggy overtook, she would still be at 10.
  24. Last Saturday she was also fine, was up to 34! But then the Sunday came and she was down all the way to 54… I hope this week the Sunday fall won’t be as steep.
  25. I loved ‘Chocolate’, it is a very classy song and I totally see it being a single (and it was!). And I agree, the video was ace. I think this package is one of the brightest memories of 2004 to me. And hey, it still got to 6. :D and had 5 weeks top-40, which wasn’t bad at all for 2004.
