  1. 760K tomorrow hopefully? And almost definitely 20m overall!
  2. Yeah, great questions from the presenter, and he studied the real deal about her, love it. But I can already feel a collective sigh of people while hearing that she’s gonna shoot two more videos with Sophie Muller.
  3. I think it’s gonna grab around 500k by the end of the year. Hard to tell though, as it is still gaining on streaming and could be more. I voted 71-80, but seeing that 500k would fall under 51-60 section, my current prediction is 51-60.
  4. The way it goes I can definitely say it’s a big possibility and with PP easily being not only gold, but platinum within a year or so! I mean it will have reached ≈100k after 5 weeks with streaming still gaining week-on-week! To get to gold by the end of the year she will only need to sell averagely 11k per week, which is very achievable at this point.
  5. Oh, these sales of 37-38K for ‘Higher’ and ‘Please Stay’ are very big for their respective positions!
  6. I’m actually happy with 33, as going down to 54 two Sundays in a row from 44 and then 34 made me worried. And I’m sure I’ll make up most of, if not all, of the ground in tomorrow’s update.

i actually saw that Rema gained a bit on Spotify Friday-to-Friday and thought: bye ACR, but I didn’t expect the increase was 10%
  8. On TikTok in the last 8 days the main version is up to 10.3K + 0.4K from 6.2K + 0.3K. And the mashup with ‘Head’ is up to 16.7K from 13.9K videos. The mashup slowed down, but the main version is going steady! Overall 27.4K videos now, which is not bad at all. Also up to 12.4M monthly listeners on Spotify after the whole month of PP release, which is roughly 50% up.

What? How? it is miles behind on Spotify!

Amazing start, but unfortunately I just don’t see it going top-10 with it falling out of top-200 on Spotify already, unless it significantly picks up there.

Surprised at J Hus already below Calvin!

Wouldn’t count on As It Was going to ACR before autumn or even Christmas period. REMA may keep avoiding too if he doesn’t decline in streams this week.

I think they had some more cassettes for this week that they didn’t dispatch last Thursday, and the CD must be selling a bit still. But she’s up from 40 to 21 on Spotify Friday-to-Friday, so I’m not at all surprised by the top-10.
  14. On Friday I voted a very specific non-mover, and it is quite likely it will shape up to be one! Leigh-Anne is unfortunately out of the Spotify top-200, Peggy slid down a bit on Spotify too and is way behind on other platforms. So I can see Kylie overtaking David Kushner and being overtaken by Hannah Laing. Still need an eye on Peggy though, but even if Peggy overtook, she would still be at 10.
  15. Last Saturday she was also fine, was up to 34! But then the Sunday came and she was down all the way to 54… I hope this week the Sunday fall won’t be as steep.
  16. I loved ‘Chocolate’, it is a very classy song and I totally see it being a single (and it was!). And I agree, the video was ace. I think this package is one of the brightest memories of 2004 to me. And hey, it still got to 6. :D and had 5 weeks top-40, which wasn’t bad at all for 2004.
  17. I don’t think BMG can do much, given they’re not a major. I’m sure they’re doing all they can. And I’m sure playlists like Hot Hits are heavily controlled by Warner / Universal / Sony, and for the rest it would be much harder to climb up, which we are literally watching online with ‘Padam Padam’ doing better than her HH placement. Essentially Kylie had a choice of going to another major which wouldn’t pay much attention to her, or going to a label like BMG who would throw all of them at her, but wouldn’t have that much to throw in the first place. And I definitely think she made the right choice, as I suspect she wouldn’t even snatch ‘Padam’ for her with a label preferring to give it to a ‘current’ artist.
  18. A new smash by Peggy helped her remix of CGYOOMH too, it’s Kylie’s third streamed track behind PP and the original CGYOOMH as of yesterday! As a follower of Peggy, I’d love a proper collab between them, I can totally see their styles melding into something gorgeous. CGYOOMH itself is doing significantly better now, up from around 300k per day to 400k+ per day. I think ‘In Your Eyes’ also gets bigger streams, but the effect isn’t big. Right now PP and CGYOOMH (all versions) make up pretty much for a half of Kylie’s streaming, which makes me kinda sad, given how rich her discography is. I hope the success of PP will make the streaming services increase the support of the whole catalogue, but it’s a very slow change.
  19. Loving it! I think this may overtake ‘I Go’ as my favourite of hers, and I loved the latter.
  20. Well, it looks like Leigh-Anne is out of contention with debuting at 54 on Spotify. Unless she sold an enormous amount of CDs, but I don’t see more than 5k, which wouldn’t be enough, as it needs around 25k to get to the top-10 at the moment? I don’t see Dua being a threat for now either. And REACT is now within a reaching distance too. But Peggy Gou is in at 8. We will need to see how she goes through the week, but so far looks like in a strong contention for the top-10 debut. And I can definitely see Hannah Laing climbing above, as she’s up to 7 on Spotify. Looks like it’s gonna be around 9-10 for Padam this week, which would be an amazing result without a physicals dump, no extra fan push etc.
  21. Amazing for Peggy, happy she is properly breaking through now! Also great for Kylie ofc, hopefully she doesn’t fall too much on Sat and especially Sun updates.
  22. Oh yes, I’m too very interested in the format split! From what it looks like, 25.9k are split into something like 1.5k cassettes 400 CDs ≈4k downloads ≈20k streams But I’d like to know for sure.
  23. From what I see the top-7 is unreachable and also isn’t going anywhere to ACR. Miracle, React and As It Was all grew in sales. David Kushner looks like is going to ACR, so there’s one that will be overtaken for sure. Loreen and the two Dave Cees aren’t a threat anymore either. But Rema might be a trouble still, it’s falling in sales but not so fast, and well, it has a huge staying power. We also have Hannah Laing who’s climbing fast and was just a hundred copies behind Kylie without the cassettes last week. And finally there are two potentially high new entries, one from Leigh-Anne, who has the physicals, and the other is from Peggy Gou who started very well on Thursday, so might shoot up in the update for Friday. Tomorrow’s Spotify update will tell more clearly. From all of this I can deduct that I can see Kylie anywhere between 8 and 12, but another week in the top-10 is a strong possibility, given how healthy the sales still are. Edit: and there’s also Dua Lipa. Her fall from 13 to 15 is deceiving, as she actually grew by around 3k in sales! Last week she was at 13 with 20.3k and this time UK RAP at 14 is on 23.7k.
  24. Nah, she would have been a non-mover at 12. 25,867 - 1,504 = 24,363. And Hannah at 13 sold 24,260. But if we also take into account some extra mass buying, then yes, she would have fallen.
  25. Biggest day on Spotify yesterday with 688,412 streams. I’m very curious how is it going to do tomorrow, as PP was getting a huge streaming surge specifically on Fridays.
