  1. Added to Radio 2 A-list! This with Capital playlisting should easily send her to the top-10 on AirPlay next week.
  2. Downloads will collapse a lot, but that will be made up by streaming. I mean last Friday Kylie started with 104 on Spotify next to fall out for two days. And on Apple she was at around 80. This time around we have PP at roughly the same position on Spotify but set to climb and newly added big playlists. And on Apple she’s already at 25 and climbing. I think 1-1.5k more downloads and this will be enough for top-20, even if it doesn’t take off much more on streaming.
  3. I think it’s Eurovision mainly, as those came out of nowhere basically and there are four ESC entries above it! Streaming market is very different to downloads, as it’s pretty much unlimited and very very flat in consumption. This is also why they always promote in USA. It is not visible in the charts but still gives them a significant portion of revenues. I’m sure around 50k daily Spotify streams for Padam Padam go from USA.
  4. I voted clima and I think it will be top-20 next week.
  5. I remember that duet being on TV a lot when I was little, I liked it a lot actually!
  6. I totally agree, I think everyone understands that it wouldn’t work as well with Kylie on Parlo as with BMG. BMG’s resources are more limited, as it’s not a major label, but given Kylie is probably their biggest act, they have put a huge amount of effort into her, and it clearly paid off. And I think BMG are VERY happy with PP achieving a hit single status, as they’re known for selling physical albums, but with the singles their artists struggle for various reasons.
  7. I opened Twitter and thankfully only the Aussie position flooded into me. But I’ll stay off for now, it helps that right now I’ll have a work meeting in Teams
  8. Up to 35 on Apple Music, the rise continues. At this point we don’t have to worry about tomorrow’s chart position that much, as it will peak later.
  9. Just when it showed the signs of slowing down… great! 36 is good, many are added lower, and you can always go up.
  10. Slightly bonkers stats from last.fm, I’ll leave it here too. Spain? @1661421305382436880
  11. Lol also feel 27, overtaking Capaldi.
  12. If it’s added to more playlists, especially Hot Hits UK, it will easily go top-100 and more. If not, it’s probably going to reach its peak very soon (but probably still within the top-100, but low). But regardless, amazing result already. Meanwhile +576k streams on Spotify yesterday. Crossed 3m in just a week, amazing! @1661786348104167441
  13. I would be quite fuming if they didn’t add her to HHUK with such gains and position to be honest! But at the same time won’t be surprised if they don’t add her. 😒 I feel it should easily cross 13k sales on Friday, with streaming growing, unaccounted yesterday’s Spotify streams and the new download of extended mix.
  14. Kylie is the queen with her potential top-30 single and deserves all of her 20 pages and more though. ^_^ Padam Padamming to the Apple Music top-40 now, up to #39! And with remixes, well - it is very hard for a post-album single to take off, and the feature remixes proved to be most efficient way to do so. I'd rather have post-album singles taking off on their own, but we have what we have!
  15. Cracked the top-40 on Apple and now at 39. Now I’m quite sure it will enter top-100 on Spotify in tomorrow’s update. Spotify Hot Hits UK, hello?? It’s clearly a hit? And certainly very hot? But even if it stops gaining and isn’t caught by the playlists after the vitality dies down, it is on course to become her 3rd most streamed track ever in just a year! I’m obsessed by this trajectory!
  16. Yesterday’s Spotify gain: 518,518 streams
  17. So cool! So it gained 562 downloads and 1,334 streaming points in a day. Looking for at least 12k+ sales points this week (including the streams that weren’t accounted for yesterday). This should be enough for top-30 now.
  18. I like Karma and I think it is definitely a strong single choice! If it shines as a single of its own, it will be great.
  19. Thank you Liam for the stats, love when we compare the dynamics. But sure Dancing is a new entry, given the previous report was in March 2018?
  20. I kinda wish they had another out of comfort zone big track in their pockets to ensure the success, but the rest looks like more of a safe Kylie, judging by the leaks reactions and the fact that the album is mainly produced by Biff. But regardless of anything, this album is going to raise her streaming profile a lot already, she really needed this boost, as she is very underrated on streaming.
  21. Frankly I don’t think this will change anything in the industry. First, the song isn’t that big, at least yet. Secondly, they may just say — look, but we supported Padam because it was a cool song! And they will neglect the fact that there are many other incredible songs, just not made as viral ones.
  22. It is actually New York City in the article now! Very surprising how well the Golden tracks have done in the UK. And that Real Groove, which cumulatively is the highest ‘DISCO’ streamer on Spotify due to numerous versions, isn’t really that high. I guess a lot of streams came from all over the world, including the ones from Dua. I feel ‘Padam Padam’ could enter this top-40 within a month at most, eh. It already had 550k streams registered as of yesterday at very least.
  23. Up to 50 on Apple Music. Even if this stalls after the initial hype, this will do wonders for Kylie streaming numbers.
  24. 1. Dancing 2. Padam 3. Say Something Dancing remains my favourite of hers, I think it’s in the top-5 of all of her songs for me! Padam is amazing but lacks the depth and grooviness in production and is too short (I know why they did it, but the longer version would work for me better). And Say Something is a very solid song, but too on a safe side for a lead from Kylie.
  25. To put into perspective, these are the first days of 'Padam' and 'Say Something' on global Spotify. Unfortunately I couldn't find 'Dancing' numbers in the vaults, but that more reminds of the 'Say Something' trajectory. Evidently, up until yesterday, the trends were the roughly same, with 'Padam' just having higher numbers. But yesterday 'Padam' gained much better than 'Say Something'!
