152 : Not Summer Room
My afrobeats entry tanked super hard, which is a big shame, as I love the song! This time will probably send another Spanish language entry. It’s a pop song and is super funs.

Dancing ● 5 years on
This song has turned me into a fan to be honest! I always liked Kylie, but she was hit-and-miss for me, and this was a huge step up especially after the two previous albums. With this song Kylie completely clicked with me as an artist.

The Lost Tapes Cup - FINALS
So we have our final made of 'Summer of '99' and 'Flatline', with 'Back in the Day' and 'Love Me Hard' still having a chance to complete the top-3 of the cup! Who's gonna be crowned the winner? Is it gonna be 'Flatline' which opened the era back in the day, or 'Summer of '99', one of the fan favourites?

iTunes & Spotify Charts
The Lost Tapes: one month later There has been exactly one month since the release of 'The Lost Tapes', which was purposedly made contradictory to all of the general marketing strategies as a gift to fans. And I could say it served very well! These are the current total streams of the songs: Drum 189 812 Flatline 1 656 854 (+181 465) Love Me Hard 159 931 Summer of '99 180 845 Boys 165 012 Metal Heart 105 150 Beat Is Gone 99 043 No Regrets 124 833 Today 407 610 Victory 98 045 I'm Alright 106 715 I Lay Down 85 886 Back in the Day 86 686 Back to Life 39 295 Breathe Me 42 742 Only You 36 462 Overall the album has 3 584 921 streams, of which it gained 2 109 532 (minus the pre-release 'Flatline' streams). Most of the tracks are already safely above 100 000 streams, with 'Beat is Gone' getting there today and 'Victory' getting there tomorrow. Sugababes have 3 099 607 monthly listeners now (which is going to fall since now), so I assume this is their peak in this 'era'.

Buzzjack's Ultimate UK Number 5 Single - 1st Round
^ and of course there is '2 Die 4' by Tove Lo also sampling Popcorn, which has charted in our hearts. :D :D By the way King Rollo, do you by any chance have the stats how many people voted for each song? Would be very interesting. Thank you!

The Lost Tapes Cup - Semi-Finals
Moving on to the semi-finals! To accumulate more votes, I'm holding both at the same time, but with the deadline until Friday :D Could it be 'Back in the Day' proving to be the biggest underdog and going all the way to the finals? Or is it going to be a uptempo banger 'Summer of '99'? And in the second semi 'Love Me Hard', which also obliterated a lot of competition on its way, going to meet the single of the campaign 'Flatline'. We lost: Drum - Group A, 3rd place Only You - Group A, 4th place I Lay Down - Group B, 3rd place Back to Life - Group B, 4th place Metal Heart - Group C, 3rd place Breathe Me - Group C, 4th place Today - Group D, 3rd place Boys - Group D, 4th place No Regrets - QF1, 47% I'm Alright - QF2, 13% Victory - QF3, 17% Beat is Gone - QF4, 27%

⬛ SEMI-FINALS ⬛
I can't at 'All Time High' Judging by the credit, it doesn't officially sample 'Doctor Jones', in the current times I'm sure it would be obliged! Such a journey to late 1990's!

iTunes & Spotify Charts
^ I don't see any effect to be honest! If anything, the album had a very significant drop in streams from wk3 to wk4. It is down 34% week on week from 480k streams to 319k. BUT yesterday we had 'I'm Alright' and 'Metal Heart' crossing 100k! From the standard edition we only don't have 'Beat is Gone' (95k), 'Victory' (94k), 'I Lay Down' (83k) and 'Back in the Day' (83k) in the 100k mark yet. The former two will have made it in a week, the latter two - in early February. This is how the tracks fared from wk3 to wk4. Today | 123 412 | 69 134 | -44% Drum | 43 486 | 30 532 | -30% Flatline | 35 944 | 27 022 | -25% Boys | 33 845 | 25 875 | -24% Love Me Hard | 33 688 | 25 346 | -25% Summer of '99 | 41 217 | 25 273 | -39% No Regrets | 24 656 | 17 571 | -29% I'm Alright | 19 733 | 15 288 | -23% Metal Heart | 19 304 | 12 744 | -34% Victory | 18 353 | 12 315 | -33% Beat Is Gone | 18 021 | 12 208 | -32% Back in the Day | 16 583 | 11 179 | -33% I Lay Down | 15 810 | 10 380 | -34% Breathe Me | 13 852 | 8 794 | -37% Back to Life | 11 304 | 8 143 | -28% Only You | 10 346 | 7 068 | -32% The biggest faller is 'Today' but it is still gaining nicely. The most stable tracks are 'I'm Alright' and 'Boys'. In fact, 'I'm Alright' overtook 'Metal Heart' in total streams. Also 'Back in the Day' is now being streamed faster than 'I Lay Down' and has also overtook it in total streams.

Bizarrap & Shakira - BZRP Music Sessions #53
I LOVED La Tortura back in the day! And it was a hit in Continental Europe actually. I definitely remember it being played a lot on radio and MTV. From the more recent staff Chantaje should have been big too. Anyway I’m happy it charted at 31! It seems to be its peak and possibly the only week in the top-40, but the fact that it got there in the UK is amazing.

The Lost Tapes Cup - QF4
I think I'll leave the poll open until Monday! Hopefully we get more votes this time, the activity in the forum predictably fell down.
-
The Lost Tapes Cup - QF4
The QFIII results are also very clear with 'Love Me Hard' clearly sailing through the semi-finals, and we are moving on to the last quarter-final! It is 'Flatline' vs. 'Beat is Gone' this time. We lost: Drum - Group A, 3rd place Only You - Group A, 4th place I Lay Down - Group B, 3rd place Back to Life - Group B, 4th place Metal Heart - Group C, 3rd place Breathe Me - Group C, 4th place Today - Group D, 3rd place Boys - Group D, 4th place No Regrets - QF1, 47% I'm Alright - QF2, 13% Victory - QF3, 17% Which song is going to complete our pack of semi-finalists?
-
The Lost Tapes Cup - QF3
The results are quite clear, but still — maybe any more votes? I personally joined the majority too!

It's a shame bizza/Shakira are falling, hopefully it will stabilise to get at least one top-40 week anyway!

The Lost Tapes Cup - QF3
'Summer of '99' is slaying through the semi-finals and will meet 'Back in the Day' there, and now we have to determine the other pair of semi-finalists. We lost: Drum - Group A, 3rd place Only You - Group A, 4th place I Lay Down - Group B, 3rd place Back to Life - Group B, 4th place Metal Heart - Group C, 3rd place Breathe Me - Group C, 4th place Today - Group D, 3rd place Boys - Group D, 4th place No Regrets - QF1, 47% I'm Alright - QF2, 13% Victory vs Love Me Hard for QF3! Who's gonna win this one?
-
Buzzjack's Ultimate UK Number 5 Single - 1st Round
So now we're onto the section where at least two people need to vote for a song to get 31+ points! I overlooked 'It's No Good' by Depeches, should have voted for it!

The Lost Tapes Cup - QF2
