With 'Rock DJ' I am very neutral overall, but in the club it had always come blasting to me! 'Love My Life' at #10 overall is indeed weird, but I remember it was actually a big hit and hanging around for a while with a lot of yo-yo-s! Also re: Angels doubling its sales - in 2016 only the paid-for-sales were given, without streaming, so the growth isn't that big. Still very impressive! And love that 'Feel' is very high up in the list!

But genuinely, what do we think regarding ‘Stay with Me’: is it bots or some legit marketing tactics? (I don’t know, like ads or something like that) making these unnatural fluctuations?

I see Lewis debuting at 1 on Spotify, even with all BOTA versions combined. The question is, where it will go from there.

Lizzo snatching a post-album top-40, a very rare feat these days. Also good for ‘Late Night Talking’, although its chart run is going to look erratic even before the ACR. And I believe once Matilda goes to ACR, it will make the way for another album track. Also good for Elton / Britney, I genuinely had thought it would have been 10 places lower!

Maybe there should be a rule that if a song can get a new peak with a reset, it will be reset.

Also if Mr Brightside is given a reset, it may not ever go to ACR, as their streams are super stable. :lol:

Okay, hats off to Elton / Britney! I expected it to go low top-20 on the second week, but it has recovered on Spotify very nicely, which bodes up for a long running hit.

It is up against some huge moguls though. I love Confide in Me, Spinning Around, On a Night Like This, Can’t Get You Out of My Head, in Your Eyes, Slow almost equally. I think I voted for CIM, but could be for Slow too.

I’m very surprised new Guetta is doing THAT well. I find Bebe’s vocals off-putting in it, and the sample use doesn’t attract me either: the original is too distinguishable for me for the remake to do well. Also feels like ‘Hold Me Closer’ may do a ‘Boyz’ by Jesy Nelson with a very high debut and falling off straight to low top-20 afterwards. But only time will tell.

If anything, there will be a battle between Taylor Swift and Arctic Monkeys on that week (won by the latter I presume).

I very much prefer BOTA. ‘Hold Me Closer’ is pleasant to hear, but it is literally nothing new — a Tiny Dancer rehash with a Cold Heart formula. But I hope this gives Britney legs work on and to release something by her own. Meanwhile BOTA doesn’t sound like your typical dance filler at all to me. And I always loved the sample it uses.
