I wonder why Pink's label doesn't promote her in Spotify. It took ages for 'What About Us' to climb in Hot Hits, and I even suppose it was a natural climb without or with some minimal help from the label. 'Beautiful Trauma' is not promoted at all, as I can see. This hinders the chances of the song to go anywhere in the official top-40, despite having a hit potential, judging by iTunes.

Maybe Rita could do it afterwards?! Camila Is outstreaming her by 300 “copies” or so but Rita’s lead on iTunes is 1:0.5 now

I really hated her previous era and love the new one. And 'What About Us' is super fresh and current. So I wouldn't say she isn't evolving at all! I voted for #1 BUT with 40-60k sales unfortunately. The market state is dire, but I'd love her to go to 100k+ (pretty sure OCC would send a press release if she was above 50k after the first day though, like they did with Liam Gallagher).

What you said here would be true if it wasn't for a fact that she got to #1 on every major playlist straight away, this is a precedence unseen before. No denial she has a huge fanbase and that she would do well whatsoever but the payola / the contract obligation is clear. I think a good example of no / little payola is Pink: she's top-30 in overall Spotify charts, yet they don't move her up from 40 something position on hot hits at all, despite being in the official top-5 for 2 weeks now.
