Joel Corry can go for a re-release, as frankly I don't have high expectations from it, but I don't want them to advertise this re-release too much, as it might hinder the anticipation for the next project, which hopefully will be fruitful altogether without being a one hit wonder or being a complete underperformance.

At first I found it through some tik toks and was quite annoyed by 'I'm your number one I'm your number one' part, but then Spotify played it to me in full and I was grabbed by those basslines in the end! Now totally love it!

I think it actually has a decent chance of getting certified in 2-3 years or so.

I definitely read somewhere in the media that the re-release is coming “with a string of new songs” or something like that. Tbh you don’t need to do barely anything to make a re-issue at this point — Drum and Heavenly Body already exist and were released, we have ‘Dance Alone’… 1-2 more tracks and that’s it? My biggest problem with a re-issue is that if they release another single to support it, that single must be a banger not to kill the momentum before the next album. But if it is a banger, I’d rather keep it to open the new album!

Love the title and cover! Wasn’t a fan of ‘Training Season’ but ‘Houdini’ is IT. One of my fav songs of the recent year. Very looking forward to this!

It is high on Amazon which reports sales on time, unlike Spotify and Apple Music who are one day behind with sending the data.

It was also in YouTube trending here and there, including the overall peak at 3 in UK :D such a brilliant performance!

Late to the party, but I think the performance was spectacular! It is the one you as an artist watch years later in your house under a blanket with a cup of cocoa. And think: yes, I did THAT!

^ Actually there’s a huge difference between one song getting 120m streams or three. For example an album has 12 tracks. Case one: Track 1: 120m Track 2: 10m Tracks 3-12: 10m Track 1 is down weighted to the average of 10m of tracks 3-12 as per OCC rule. Overall streaming sales are 120m / 1000 = 120k. Case two: Track 1: 40m Track 2: 40m Track 3: 40m Tracks 4-12: 10m Tracks 1 and 2 are down weighted to the average of 13m of tracks 3-12. Track 3 isn’t down weighted. Overall streaming sales are 156m / 1000 = 156k. So if the album is a 3 moderate hits wonder instead of a one big hit wonder, in this case it will gain 36 extra thousand UK chart sales, or 30% of them.

Well I'd say the total Spotify streams for Padam Padam wouldn't be a bad indication for its UK certifications. It reached Silver on 50m Spotify streams. It reached Gold on 105m Spotify streams. So I'd say it will reach Platinum on 160-170m Spotify streams, which should happen around the end of this year or beginning of the next.

Tbh I can’t stop laughing at this! Definitely falls under the “so bad it’s good” category. “Mom, now I know how to design the graphics!”

Dance Alone actually outperformed Gimme Love on its first full week: @1757878466416972177 So it has a chance of outperforming it overall (which is on 70m streams at the moment after a half of year), which might make it bigger than any other track for Kylie except for Head, Baby and Padam on Spotify! Even Padam might fall behind in the end.

I must admit, I chuckled at the part “… and if you kill someone huns then you can emote while the dead player is watching.”

I hope she somehow squeezes in Tension the song to be honest! Truly underrated single

Love it! I think they couldn’t resist giving her a nod after a GRAMMY win, especially given the chance of winning international artist are very slim. Hopefully a medley performance now!

^yes, it didn’t break the top-200, but the streaming is extremely strong for a single with Kylie (by far not so much for Sia though). Kylie’s Spotify monthly listeners increased by more than a million since the song release and may help Kylie re-enter the top-500 most popular artists worldwide there, so it’s doing exactly that — giving more visibility for Kylie on streaming. Everything else is a bonus frankly. i just wish the song was stronger!

Well, number 200 was streamed 81,205 times, so no more than that! Padam had 15-20% of its streams from the UK, this one seemingly has less than 10%. Sia is a much more “international market” artist.
