Oh, you're right, I didn't see the other chart beneath. :unsure: This one of course is better and reflects better what the big hits of the year have been. But for the rest, this leads to nothing...

That's a different thing. I just saw the APC Euro year end chart of 2010. Unheilig at #2 is so ridiculous! Nobody in the non-German-speaking countries knows that song. And Eminem and Yolanda Be Cool aren't even in the Top 15. They need a better point system for the year end chart. Apparently it's a linear system where a weekly #1 gets 200 points and a #200 gets 1 point. But that means that a song that spends 2 weeks at #100 has more points (202) than a song that has only one week at #1 (200). The system only rewards longevity, high positions are completely irrelevant. This year end chart has nothing to do with what was popular in the whole of Europe.

France may be the only country in whole Europe where your beloved chart is indeed more accurate for people's taste than the official chart. :lol:
