  1. I kind of wish they hadn’t set a time frame, because people are already hyping up their comeback, before the hiatus has even started! Also, it just sets everyone up for disappointment.
  2. I’m trying to reserve judgement until I’ve actually seen the tour myself, but I do agree something is off, I’ve only seen videos from the first night though, so could just be first night nerves. It just didn’t feel as cohesive or polished as I’m used to with Little Mix. Some of those outfits are a CHOICE!
  3. It will be very strange having no commercially successful girlband in the UK charts, there has always been at least 1 on the go since the Spice Girls launched? It’s a very British thing that we love girlbands, the states doesn’t have the same appreciation for girl groups. I would guess the label’s aren’t actively searching for a girlband right now, as they know it would be an uphill struggle in 2022, as there are so many metrics to consider and get right. It probably will happen at some point maybe as the market changes again.
  4. Katy’s career trajectory has been really similar to Christina Aguilera’s in some ways. 1st album: Both had an equally HUGE debut single, that seemed to launch their careers overnight. 2nd album: HUGE commercial success with their second albums. The peak of their careers. 3rd album: Maintained commercial success for their 3rd albums, however not able to repeat the success of their second efforts. 4th album A commercial flop for both and ridicule/criticism from the public. 5th album: Dead on arrival
  5. What time are LM likely to go on stage, the ticket says 6PM? But I’m assuming it will be closer to 8PM by the time they go on stage.
  6. I’m sure they said Confetti was always the planned 4th single.
  7. Will be interesting to see if the Becky Hill momentum continues, or if she’ll once again be struggling to get top 40 hits.
  8. You could argue that Dannii’s whole solo career is forgotten.
  9. 18,000+ sales for No Good Advice in less than 3 years. That seems high, no? Not that I’m complaining!
  10. I thought it would be closer to Platinum by now, won’t make it this year I would assume?
  11. So with 2020 and 2021 sales for Confetti, it should be just short of 230,000. It’s going to be a long slog to Platinum. Between Us might even get there first?
  12. The line up for the last 3 years has been pretty dire. They’ve booked Mabel for the last 4 years? Does she have nothing else to do. I don’t like Ed Sheeran or Coldplay, but I don’t know why they couldn’t be booked, if they’ll go on Jonathan Ross or Graham Norton. The endless D-List acts and collabs are getting boring.
  13. Perrie and Leigh-Anne really are checked out of Little Mix huh. Neither have posted about the Brit nominations, Leigh-Anne shared Simon’s post, but nothing actually from her.
  14. Like every trend, the joke has been rinsed, the first few were funny..
  15. LM5 and Salute are the girls best albums by FAR! Glory Days, Confetti & Get Weird are a mixed bag of amazing and awful. DNA is just plain bad.
  16. I don’t think you can say they don’t want to support. If people were streaming the song, it would’ve been moved up, Confetti started really low and eventually was the #1 song on Hot Hits as it kept growing. The interest just hasn’t been there with LSL and No.
  17. The way Jesy has been erased from Little Mix recently, would suggest she won’t be invited back, however it would be stupid to guess either way.
  18. Wasn’t there a story that Perrie tried/wanted to leave in 2019? So I am guessing it’s Perrie that has pushed for the hiatus. I am sad we wont get a proper LM3 album and it felt like the girls were on such a roll in 2021, it’s also sad they are ending on Between Us, as that doesn’t feel like them ending on a high, it’s all felt so rushed and basic. I know a few people are saying, they’ll be huge when they come back, but that is doubtful, streaming support is already on the down turn and they’ll most likely be shunted to Radio 2, so I doubt we will get the standard 4 single affair when the girls are back, it will be like any returning band, their first single back will do well, as will the album and tour, however it will mostly be nostalgia based, unless the industry changes again in the next few years.
  19. “No” giving us that Instant Grat chart run. Ready for the fans to declare it the 2nd promo single of the album, the real lead is coming!
  20. It’s so annoying that the Between Us singles have fallen so flat, I really wanted the girls to join the 20 top 10’s club before their hiatus  They’ve already confirmed Cut You Off won’t be a single and it looks like Between Us is just getting a cute video to close the era and I assume we won’t get any new material in the new year.
  21. If ‘No’ is going to be their last single for a while? I hope they don’t give up at the first hurdle, throw a feature on it, get a signed CD single out.
  22. LSL was quickly taken off Hot Hits when it was underperforming, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they do the same with ‘No’ I really don’t think it will get a second wind in January, it’s majorly underperforming already without the Christmas songs. This isn’t a Sweet Melody situation.
  23. Monster In Me is great, but I don’t think it would’ve done much as a single. Woman Like Me Wasabi *Album* Think About Us Forget You Not Perfect singles run!
  24. Taylor sold 7,000 vinyl and she is #2 on the vinyl chart, Little Mix are #3 so I would imagine they sold 5-6K.
  25. She’ll get on with her life and enjoy being a very rich woman. She’ll find another lane for herself, all the girls will, I’m not expecting huge solo success for any of them, maybe Jade will manage some niche success with the gays.
