Agreed, it feels like a take down. it’s especially funny to see people who were the first to be like “I miss Jesy!!!!” and preaching about mental health when she left Little Mix, are now leading the jokes on Popjustice for likes. Someone does need to sit down with Jesy and educate her (I’m sure people have tried) but it’s all very mean right now.

I don’t really care about the song or Jesy in general, but she’s really being ripped apart on a lot of forums right now, maybe rightly so, but I don’t remember there being that same energy when Ariana was releasing 7 Rings and had a dodgy tan.

I noticed LSL has been removed from Hot Hits UK.

I got the Spotify vinyl, the numbered print also swayed me! I still think the Orange vinyl suits the cover best. I’m going the cancel the HMV yellow vinyl, because as much as I love the girls, I don’t want 3 of the same album :lol:

I honestly think the girls missed a trick not re-recording Happiness and releasing it as the first single from the Greatest Hits, but also keeping the Confetti album streams high (like what The Weekend did with Save Your Tears on his Greatest Hits). LSL continues to have no replay value for me.

This has fallen out of the Spotify 200 today.

‘Let Them Know’ only rebounded because Mable performed the song on Love Island, it jumped 50 places on the Spotify chart after that 1 performance. Little Mix don’t have any performances planned and even if they did, none would be as effective as Love Island. The girls aren’t going to do anything to try and push this, the one thing to possibly benefit would be a vinyl/CD singed single, but I don’t think they care enough to do that at this point. I just hope the poor performance of this single doesn’t affect future singles radio/playlist support.

I’m not overly fussed how this does - as it’s not a studio album, a top 10 peak would be great and streaming sales will do the rest. It’s 2021, no one (certainly of the generation that listen to Little Mix) has a CD player anymore, so how are they supposed to pick up casual sales? It’s all going to be fan sales of the CD, Vinyl and Cassette and let’s be honest Love (Sweet Love) doesn’t have the fans running to pre-order the album.

That is the good thing about Spotify & Apple Music, if people are steaming a song they will add it to their playlists regardless of an artists age (ABBA, Atomic Kitten, Elton, Westlife etc) Where as once Radio 1 is done with you, there is no coming back from that.

I Still Have Faith in You has a CD Single/Vinyl out this week and is doing decent on all streaming platforms, I would expect 1 (if not both) to make the top 10.

Confetti wasn’t on Hot Hits and it’s second day drop wasn’t that tragic. The song isn’t good and I would bet this won’t ever enter the top 50, even if it does get added to Hot Hits on Monday.

Twitter is so toxic it’s unreal, yes maybe Cheryl wasn’t the best choice for the podcast, but for everyone to jump in and say she shouldn’t be doing it because she is racist (especially MNEK) is gross.

The song is… fine, but it’s a decent album track at best. Not single material at all.

Agreed. I think it’s my least favourite Little Mix single (well after Cannonball).

Where are we thinking this will chart next Friday? With the Kayne and Drake album’s most likely clogging up the top 10, I think we can rule out a top 10 debut and I don’t know if it’s strong enough to climb into the top 10 later down the line.

Break Up Song, Holiday & Sweet Melody were all added to Hot Hits on release day, Confetti was added the following Monday.

I’m trying really hard to like this and with repeated listens… I still don’t think it’s great, BUT I’m hopeful the video will sell me on the song.

Ugh so messy, Traitor is done in Europe, ideally they would’ve pushed Jealousy, Jealousy now, but localised singles are a thing of the past, so they probably won’t push anything else now? Or at least until Traitor is done in the US.
