Official Charts Company have an ANNOUNCEMENT
Nice to see Rod's been awarded corrected figures for "Sailing". Only Showaddywaddy & the New Seekers to go now! Though I suppose they can be forgiven in the "lost" weeks BMRB sales. I've noticed that The Big Top 40 is not including any airplay on it's chart, these days & it's just a straight iTunes Single Track chart. Although they still change everything around at 6pm....

Number 61: THE DUSTBINMEN (1969) 8.25m Equally garbage! Jack Rosenthal's comedy creation. One of the grittier sit-coms in many ways, The Dustbinmen provoked outrage from the bodies who wanted to clean up TV, but the viewers loved it. Why? Cast: Bryan Pringle as Cheese and Egg Trevor Bannister as Heavy Breathing Graham Haberfield as Winston Platt John Barrett as 'Smellie' Ibbotson Tim Wylton as Eric Paula Wilcox as Naomi Brian Wilde as Bloody Delilah 6Rq6ovuTyEk

Number 62: MR DIGBY DARLING (1969) 8.25m I had hope for a clip of this at least, but can't find one. It was repeated by Granada Plus, about 15 years back. Roland Digby's home life is less than perfect. His children run riot and his wife wants more. The only peace of mind Mr Digby enjoys is in his office at Rid-O-Rat pesticide manufacturers. At Rid-O-Rat he's every need is dealt with by his faithful P.A. Cast: Peter Jones as Roland Digby Sheila Hancock as Thelma Teesdale Beryl Cooke as Olive Norman Chappell as Chambers Brian Oulton as Mr Trumper Janet Brown as Joyce Peter Stephens as Mr Baiey Michael Bates as Norman Stanhope Roland Digby's home life is less than perfect. His children run riot and his wife wants more. The only peace of mind Mr Digby enjoys is in his office at Rid-O-Rat pesticide manufacturers. At Rid-O-Rat he's every need is dealt with by his faithful P.A. Miss Teesdale (Sheila Hancock). I would vote this sitcom, one of the worse of all time. It was very much like the awful "Take A Letter Mr Jones" (a 1981 other vehicle for John Inman, assisting Rula Lenska). Both were the worst possible programmes I've ever seen.
