Nice to see GA enter on pre-orders after the no show last week. Can i just check (again) are the pre-orders only counting those in the last 7 days, rather than the total number? For example Britney was in the top10 preorders last week, and this week she is at #4, behind GA who weren't top10 last week but are #2 this week. So does this mean Britney could still have more preorders in total, but fewer were placed in the last 7 days than for Girls Aloud? Mainly come for the music but i really like the other stuff you include together as its interesting :)

3 album deal and reduced number of singles off the last (and so far this) album to me suggests 2 more studio albums and then a new GH. Good way for them to go out on a high then too with a huge GH tour

Change was a Xmas week release though - also a huge week and same time of year roughly. Single sales have risen hugely across the board though so its hard to compare. Think i mentioned similar in the singles thread a couple of months ago. I really think Change underperformed big style though. (Probably because it was $h!t) Obviously NCD was a flop, but it did more than expected in the end :)

can't be that close - they fell to 3 in the mids today and GaGa climbs to 2! Maybe 7Digital (or HMV/Tesco/other?) are selling more GaGa/Calvin...

I'd expect it to be more than 1%, but i'm thinking 5-10% for singles maybe. Seems there's no real way to know at the moment - no one's telling!

there's def a few which are, i've noticed as i've looked through but can't necessarily lay my hands on the exact figures always i'm afraid. I wouldn't get too hung up on the positions, more look at it as a useful resource :)

still not top40, actually fell one place which should never happen with a new single. Prob increased sales though, they were big last week which is more important. However, not top40 in the mids this week either! Its A list on Radio 1 and 2, has a great video which is seeing a lot of TV play, Has 2 physical formats with brand new B-side and desired mix of one of the finest album tracks, and has a radio edit so different from the album version it warrants re-downloading. They are also kicking off a huge tour which should generate great exposure for the track and its one of the stronger tracks they had left on OOC. All this considered, there is no reason this song will not do well unless the public don't like it. It doesn't matter how much you ram it down their throats if they don't like it sadly :wacko:

not on Doll Domination, unless they rereleased it? Is it on the Slumdog OST though (without their vocals?). He's the composer, the song is more than just vocals so fair enough surely :)

Sorry for missing last week's update, so here's a double post: Last week C&S re-entered at 162, and drops to 172 this week. No other albums top200 over the last 2 weeks, but at least C&S is still selling a bit (around 1000 a week i'd wager currently)

Hey, double update this time, sorry for the delay in last week's. AYN dropped to 82 and now to 94 this week in the airplay chart. Nothing else Babes-shaped in the top100

Now You're Gone (I can't stop listening to it now aah!) and Ace Reject (this has finally grown on me big time). Oh! and Girls (Klas Remix). Its so much better, has more of the sass and originality they can inject into a sample, it should've been the single mix IMHO

I am amazed that the babes actually talk to us mere mortals on social networking sites! Its almost enough to make me wanna sign up! Girls, if you read buzzjack luv ya :wub: and thanks for saying our ideas (well Jark's) rock! :D
