will this be different from the top250 done by some of the members already (guessing some things may move up or down a place or 2)?
  2. B)--> QUOTE(Dave B @ Mar 2 2009, 05:43 PM) 2458892[/snapback]The Virgin British Hit Albums Book in June. I believe they have taken over from Guinness cheers. that would be great if they bother :)
  3. Too lost in You- at this exact moment! Everything in the last week though. Stronger and Ace Reject Stand out :)

AYN to 77 this week. Nothing else to report in the 100
  5. spicefunk posted a post in a topic in Sugababes's Sugababes
Catfights falls to 162 this week Overloaded falls to 195 No other top200 albums currently

Agreed Zeus. In fact, it is still an offence to publish more than the top75, unless you have a license to do so (like chartsplus) i believe. The OCC can of course choose to display a top100 (they own the data), but in terms of what they and others consider the official chart in terms of records etc. it is the top75 (other than the period of time which there was an official top100) which counts. I mean, obviously a list from 1 to x of every single record which has sold that week has to be compiled to produce the chart and publish the top records, so the OCC will know every position even below the top200 compiled for industry and chartsplus but there has to be a cut off somewhere, where it ceases to be relevant. Top75 is probably about right imho

With the recent "Deluxe" album trend and the success of OOC, combined with the fact they will have masses of exposure in Q4 (the most lucrative sales period) again with Cheryl on X-Factor, OOC deluxe looks likely. But they already sort of did that this Xmas with releasing the 2disc version a month after the standard and just in time for Xmas. It bugs me when bands milk it so bad with three versions of an album, but at least if this one has some new content, it might be worth it. I'm thinking slap She and Memory of You on there with another couple of new songs (say 15/16 tracks seems right) and have one of the new ones as a lead single, or Memory of you. If it goes down well they could even do a 2nd Deluxe single. This should see them achieve triple platinum status
  8. Indeed. And the reason i haven't listened to 3 yet is i keep it in a velvet lined jewel encrusted gold box :P Currently listening to One Touch, such a nice album
  9. Oh i know! But Siobhan still works in Safeway. Don't ask me to explain! was talking to a friend about and we both agree its definitely not Morrisons, she's a safeway girl, green shirt and everything
  10. Man you hate Truce! It doesn't seem like the kind of song which could offend. I mean, loads of ppl seemed to really like it when the album came out, and i've never been so keen (its not the best ballad on there even if some silly reviewers say so) but its perfectly listenable? I understand when people say the same about Hangin on a Star however  You on a good day (them on a bad day IMHO)

sure its right. I was joking really. From all my scraping i could only say it was at least 1k more. I thought it would be about 45k by now best guess, but i think to keep the sales figures reliable its better to only update with the minimum we can confirm? Some of them will be so out of date, but what can you do? Get a job with MusicWeek? Update- (Will try to update this post every week if there's no new ones, rather than people seeing a new post and thinking there's news) 06/03/08 - No Sugababes songs top200 this week.
  12. spicefunk posted a post in a topic in Sugababes's Sugababes
thanks, perhaps we can total the weeks or something. Interesting info though. :)
  13. spicefunk posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
how many weeks did it potentially miss out on? This wouldn't really have affected any of the others in this list at the time would it? Thanks for the albums Zeus, haven't seen up to date ones for ages though many of those albums don't change much from year to year i guess. Some Oasis and Killers albums mustn't be too far off surely? Looks like Rihanna and Take That still have a way to go then, haven't even crossed the 100
  14. thanks great list, nice to see it updated. Any up to date all time lists? If OCC are doing one soon anyone know when?
  15. spicefunk posted a post in a topic in Sugababes's Sugababes
I have examined the weekly sales figures we have, and the year to date charts over the past few weeks, and i can now say beyond reasonable doubt that we can update the NCD sales figure: Its definitely sold over 41,000 copies now! crack the bubbly! (it could be more but its a lot less than 80k)
  16. I'm with you. You can download Rock Boy as a cherrypick from the circus album on 7Digital. Can't get Quicksand or Trouble legally in the UK currently! But any B-side is at least more of an incentive as the last 2 physicals have been p*** poor offerings (and yet i buy them) 4th single is likely, certainly in US and it will get a release here unless Amy absolutely bombs and the album disappears with it. 5 is rare now though, unless there is a re-deluxe re-release
  17. spicefunk posted a post in a topic in Sugababes's Sugababes
AYN sliding 3 to 74 this week. Also, for interest it has spent 75 weeks on the top100 airplay chart and received over 20,000 plays (from my reckoning this means it can barely have slipped out since release!) Nothing else :)

Catfights falls to 148 this week, Overloaded to 190. No other top200 albums
  19. Hey thanks, i like that song though i'm surprised she sounds a bit like Heidi in places, i could imagine her singing it too. Always thought they picked Amelle as she had a similar (but unique) voice to Mutya's, but the same couldn't be said for Siobhan/Heidi, though this has made me wonder a bit. If only we had an extra special 2disc version of Overloaded i could have found out... I will get around to buying her albums i think, if only so she has to do an hour's less overtime in Safeway!
  20. I like how you've described this. I've liked tonnes of their songs for years but didn't become a huge fan til a couple of years ago despite owning some of their stuff so i know what you mean. Sadly, i think a lot of people took that decision after hearing Girls
  21. I re-listened to Mut's Red Dress, i can hear the difference more now, i think Amelle's does have the edge after all! Its still Mut for follow my home, she's just a bit less brassy than Amelle (which works better here, but better for Amelle on Gotta Be You). Listened to Catfights, Change, Overloaded and Taller (Amelle) this week. Its been a busy one! Oh and Angels and Real Girl Tonight. I do own some non-babes CDs but i use them as coasters...

This is my main problem, i mean how much money can they re-milk out of us these days will all these rerereleases (yes Rihanna i'm talking to you). I think it could work well though maybe they'll do a tour edition with it instead of a "deluxe" like TT did, with just one new single to promote it

Think Sam Sparrow is on 39, could join them soon :) Not seen an up to date together list of these since downloads started to have a proper effect. Anyone have album, or consecutive records? I believe Engelbert Humperdink has it in singles with 56 consecutive weeks, with Rockstar 2nd on 50.
  24. glad you like it. i would hazard a guess if you like siobhan's stuff you'd like One Touch (1st album) :) may get one of her albums to try, thanks for the rec :)
  25. Not giving me much to go on here  Again, it depends how and when survey was conducted, was it a certain age group or magazine/website only etc. If it was girlsaloud.com for example that result would be open to bias  Also, if it was beginning of this year that wouldn't surprise me as i already mentioned GA are getting the star treatment far more at the mo than the babes
