Had a listen to this album all the way through and here's my quick ratings first listen: 07.5 Mama Do 08.0 Cry Me Out 07.0 Band Aid 08.0 Turn It Up 07.5 Boys & Girls 06.0 Gravity 08.5 My Love 07.0 Jack 04.0 Nothing Compares 08.5 Here We Go Again 06.5 The Way The World Works 05.5 Hold Me In Your Arms Overall - A reasonably good album but theres nothing on it which particulary stands out as amazing, quite a good bland tracks aswell. 'Cry Me Out', 'My Love' and 'Here We Go Again' for 3rd 4th and 5th single would be good.
  3. Its quite average to be honest, some shakey notes and it sounds so amaturish. Some of the lines arent even in time with the music.

Yay Lotopialand got in the final :D Hurray, its unfortunate i almost NEVER have the time to come online though nowadays to follow this properly.

For some reason its not clicked with me, i think it sounds like it was recorded in a tunnel, i can barely understand a word their saying. It doesn't sound like the same song when compared to the live version either, though it will probably grow.

I think its safe to say Alexandra's going to have no problem getting to number one now. 6/10

The backing track reminds me a lot of 'No Angels - Dissapear', quite like this its catchy.
  8. Woah theres loads of good songs in this contest, will take a few days listening to them before voting.
  9. Ive been hesitating a lot on whether to actually keep 'No Angels' as Lotopialands entry but i think i may aswell go for it still :P
  10. Disliked this at first though ive played it plenty of times today, its quite a massive grower. I actually now think its their single to date by far.
  11. It really is like 'Jamelia - Beware Of The Dog', 'Kat Deluna - Animal', 'Britney Spears - Womanizer', something from N*Sync and some lost 80's Whitney Houston song got put in a blender and this was the result.
  12. Got the album now and its pleasant enough overall but nothing matches 'Standing Strong'. 09.0 - Standing Strong (Been loving this song lately, really does remind me of a Tedder track) 06.5 - Stupid (Fairly average filler) 08.0 - Anything Tonight (This reminds me of a cross between Texas 'Summer Sun' and a lost Max Martin track from the 90s) 08.0 - Moving On (I always found it just average but as the months have gone by its grown) 08.5 - Virus (Great production on this, very dark, good stuff) 06.0 - Is That Enough (Typical Celine Dion/Mariah Carey esque ballad) 07.5 - Not The One (So 90's sounding, can see this growing a lot) 07.0 - Right Track (Nice summery song, pleasant) 06.5 - I Don't Need Your Love Song (Reminds me of that Maria Haus Storeng song 'Hold On' but not as good) 04.0 - Does She Know You (Yawn) 08.0 - What If This Is Love (Another jazzy influenced, nice summery warm song) 06.0 - For A Friend (One of the less dull ballads) 08.0 Don't Come Knocking (Very Amy Winehouse sounding to be honest, liking it) Overall - 7.0 - A nice enough album actually, its all just pleasant though, a load of growers and overall production wise its like a cross between Amy Winehouse and Celine Dion .
  13. I really like it actually, on first listen i wasnt blown away but i suspect it blasting out in High Quality will be great. She obviously needed an uptempo debut single, though people are always waiting to tear it to pieces.
  14. 'For The Lovers' and 'Nothin But Love' stood out as being amazing on first listen, im glad the duet with Akon made the album aswell.
  15. Not long got back from V Festival but definately going to send this song: No Angels - One Life for Lotopialand :D zBIGq7y7Wxs
  16. Saw them at V Festival yesterday, they looked great and 'One Shot' is epic. Not really that keen on 'Forever Is Over'
  17. Saw them at V Festival yesterday, was right at the very front! They were amazing live and performed this and another new song which i cant remember how it went but it was great stuff.

I went to see this last week and moderately enjoyed it actually. Yes it had its flaws but it had me on edge anyway.
  19. After reaching a great 9th Lotopialand is feeling very happy and positive. In fact theres already this host of fantastic songs being considered for the next song contest: The Stunners - Bubblegum aARIf2X35Go Britt Nicole - Like A Star qk8Sdvao9fw V Factory - Love Struck 6b2H4Y920zA Queensbury - Too Young Hfs5rQy1_aY No Angels - One Life zBIGq7y7Wxs Big Bang - Emotion gvECJPFARgg
  20. Lotopialand would like to reserve: Britt Nicole Queensbury No Angels The Stunners Myron I dont think anyone would have heard of most of them anyway but just incase :P
  21. Woop got in the top 10 :D Hurray for 'Daisy', celebrations in Lotopialand :P
  22. Thankyou to all the people that voted for 'Daisy' :D This is the best Lotopialand have ever done haha.
  23. Ive arrived :D And yay thanks JRK-Off :D
  24. Results tommorow :D
  25. I do really like 'Standing Strong', can't find it anywhere to buy. It does remind me of a cheap sounding Tedder production but its good stuff.
