My quick review: 1. Womanizer - Hardly her best song ever but it's done the job and is fun electro-pop 7 2. Circus - Got bored of this very quickly, its the Dr Luke etc production, Danja should of produced it as the song is great - 7.5 3. Out from Under - Really like this, not as good as Everytime obviously but still a resonable song even if it is a cover 8 4. Kill the Lights - The most 'Blackout' esque song on the album, great verses and weird chorus which is growing - 7 5. Shattered Glass - Very much early Britney sounding pure pop. Could of been a massive synth-pop Lady Gaga esque chorus but unfortunately its very stop-start thanks to the rubbish production from Dr Luke - 7.5 6. If U Seek Amy - Not Max Martins best work but its catchy pure pop and gets stuck in your head - 8 7. Unusual You - Love this :wub: So laid back and one her most mature songs ever, great production by Bloodshy & Avant - 9.5 8. Blur - Rather boring though her vocals are good, poor quality for a Danja piece - 4 9. Mmm Papi - I don't think this is as bad as people make out. It reminds me of something though im not sure what, great summery pop - 8.5 10. Mannequin - What sounded initially like being amazing hip hop-pop has been trashed thanks to dreadful production (overproduced), hopefully an acappella will leak so a version can be made with that rehearsal instrumental - 5 11. Lace and Leather - Benny Blanco & Dr Luke don't have a clue how to produce, yet again a good (if very Kylie, Madonna rip off) song ruined by a dire lazy instrumental - 5.5 12. My Baby - Boring - 2 13. Rock Me In - Very much like this, good electropop, reminds me of Rachel Stevens meets Kylie - 8.5 14. Phonography - Sounds a bit more like a more mature version of Freakshow, very dark electro-pop, great stuff - 8.5 15. Amnesia - The best song is a bonus, its not up to the best of Blackout quality still but i love it - 9 16. Radar (New Version) Its not really changed much but vocals sound better, makes me realise how amazing Blackout was - 9.5 Overall: A very mixed album overall. Britney should NEVER work with Dr Luke & Benny Blanco again and also the producers who murdered Mannequin should be sacked. The problem is that the potential great songs with melodies e.g 'Shattered Glass' & 'Circus' are ruined by AWFUL! production and the songs with good production like Danja are ruined by being poor, e.g 'Blur'. I think an album produced by Bloodshy & Avant, Redone, Konvict, Danja, Fernando Garibaby & Lady Gaga would of been perfect. Its not her that ruins it, its completely down to Jive making the best songs bonuses and Dr Luke who is capable of producing good pop/rock songs (Kelly Clarkson) but can't produce anything else.

The techno swishing sounds and acoustic guitar are the main reason that have ruined it. That amazing hip hop whistle and bass drum has dissapeared to :( 'If You Seek Amy' is amazing now :heart::wub:

Mannequins been completely destroyed from the amazing version in the rehearsal video. Im pretty disgusted as it was the song i was most eager to hear.

I do hope no more songs are leaked yet as its a bit unfair on Britney, though i really cant help but cave in and listen everytime one does, though as im getting the album anyway i guess its no harm done.

I couldn't help but download the songs. On first listen If You Seek Amy - 8.5 Circus - 8.5 Out From Under - 9 - Really loving this, best so far. Mannequin - 5 - Very annoyed at this, the video clip sounded amazing hip hop jungle like, and now its been overproduced, just her vocal and that jungle beat would be amazing, also it just fades out and doesnt have the spectacular breakdown i was hoping for :(

Yes but she doesn't go around like 'I am the voice of this generation, worship me' attitude though. One of the main reasons i didnt take to 'Piece Of Me' aswell as everyone as did was because of how tinny and robotic her voice was made to sound, but she seems to of (pretty much) minimised the use of vocoder on Circus from the sound of the clips. Vocoder isnt always a bad thing e.g Daft Punk have some great songs.

A vile creature, and 'the voice'. Just another auto-tuned sampling robot.

I was quite dissapointed with it especially after getting my hopes up that the instrumental youtube video would be the song. The verses are great with her voice sounding natural again, the build-up to the chorus is amazing then she seems to dissapear off the song for the chorus. Listening to 'Unusual You' clip again i have to say i was wrong, its grown after 3 listens to amazing :wub:

From the clips: Circus - This will sound amazing in full HQ, really love this though the synths over power her on the chorus - 9/10 Out From Under - Really love the sound of this, does indeed sound like Everytime crossed with Im Not A Girl... - 8.5/10 Kill The Lights - Like the verses, not fond of the chorus - 6/10 If You Seek Amy - Radar Part 2 imo but weaker and sounds quite demo like in this clip, chorus sounds great - 7.5/10 Unusual You - First listen bleh, second listen ooh its pretty good, third listen = amazing. Certainly one of Bloodshy & Avants best tracks, would be a great single choice :wub: - 9.5/10 Nothing is quite as good as 'Piece Of Me', 'Radar' or 'Toy Solder' from the clips but still great stuff overall.

Oh how ridiculous, knife crime this knife crime that. Like one misheard word in a song is going to cause the whole country to go on a stabbing spree, jeez :rolleyes: I quite like 'Issues', it certainly makes sense to release a slower song with it being 3rd single and coming into winter.

Oooh i quite this, not as much as i hoped i would but its very good :D Its very nice to hear her not being made to sound like a robot. I'll avoid listening to anything else that leaks before the album as it kind of ruins it.

Ghost consists of Ulf Lindström and Johan Ekhé, the guys behind some of Robyn’s finest moments (most of her first album, most of the 2nd and 3rd album including “Electric”, “Play”, “Keep This Fire Burning” and “Don’t Stop the Music”) With Sanne Karlsson, they pool together all their brilliant discography and produce a very brilliant thing. Imagine Robyn, Duffy & Gabrielli Cilmi all mixed together. The set of songs cross genres. It can’t be too fused to RnB or pop however both fans of these crowds will be mightily impressed with the irresistible hooks and catchy baselines. Despite their hideous vocals they have some cracking songs. Their last album was MUCH better han their new one though.

Yeh it's not the best cover in the world but i dont really see how it matters, people buy the album for the music not the cover.

Im quite shocked it may spend a second week in the top 10 myself, i guess its great news for them though. I dont feel the need to listen to their album as from what ive heard its pretty average.

I think 'Paper Gangsta' is pretty horrible, the auto-tune is horrid on it - 2/10 'Starstruck' is not to bad, again to much auto-tune and it lacks something but its pretty catchy - 6.5/10
