And that's exactly the problem. I see where the OCC are coming from. People were buying signed CD singles just to get a signed item by a celebrity for cheap. If the purchase is made due to the signature and not because of the song, then that is not a fair incentive in chart terms.

Assuming that Fascination are doing her A&R, I can't see them choosing for her good pop/dance songs that instead could go to Steps, who are already relying on covers here & there (since it's hard to find good original songs). There's a conflict of interest with Fascination also managing her, IMO.

These results would encourage her to record another covers album. You can bet.

NO to Madonna. She would provide a negative boost (as we've seen with her recent features) and put off potential listeners. :nono: I think Cher is a good candidate. They both appeal to the same core market and record dance-pop music. News of them collaborating would break the Internet. :cool:
