Voodoo

Exactly. Her compilation is basically utilizing a loophole in the chart rules. It's ridiculous. :coffee:

Buying a CD single was more expensive than streaming or downloading a song, and that's before even taking inflation into account. Secondly, back then you couldn't influence the chart from the comfort of your sofa.

Why was it a "simpler" time? :???:

It doesn't count, since it isn't a solo Elton single.

Believe was a smash hit right out of the gate, spending 7 weeks at #1 and becoming the best selling single by a female EVER. What's more, its success wasn't limited to the UK only. It was a worldwide mega hit pretty much in every corner of the world. It even managed to cross over to the USA - the toughest market in the world. Shazam Shazam still has a long way to go to even reach a 1/10 of Believe's success.

Two? Who's the other one?

What does The Fifth Chapter mean? Does it have any meaning?

Melanie is in the studio with Rose Gray. :music: @1668982178732990466

Here is a selection of pictures & videos from Melanie's two DJ sets at Mambo Ibiza and Pacha last Thursday: @1667562623272108032 @1667571352965107712 @1667090912944566273 But that's not all, folks. ;) Melanie will be back behind the decks at Pacha (for the third time!) on August 17th:

Her best chance would be to duet with the new Queen of Pop, Kylie Minogue. Having said that, I'm not so sure Kylie would be keen. :drink:

What is happening? :o

I suspect there are no remixes coming. BMG wouldn't want to take attention away from Shazam Shazam.

Jessica is such a powerful vocalist. She is one of Sweden's best musical exports, IMO. Tes1z_C9vbY

Does she still write everything in lower case? How edgy. It's a shame she hasn't got her Caps Lock key fixed yet. :(

She has been following the latest trends for more than 15 years. She is no longer the Queen of Reinvention, I'm afraid.

It plummeted from #33 to #101 on today's Apple chart, so probably not. :smoke:

He missed a trick by not covering GA's The Show. I'm sure he could have pulled it off effortlessly.

It's a shame she promotes and glorifies smoking. She is such a bad role model. :nono:

^ She was trending on Twitter last night! :cheer: @1667982587279597568 @1668220180718305282 @1668017089800544257 @1667948564763246593 @1667991576457388036 @1667989456601726976 @1667994557097582593 @1667994585274937347 @1667996908814577665 @1668246250997645319

Shazam Shazam had done very well on Spotify UK even before it was added to the most important playlist.

Not true!

No, it wasn't a #1 single. It's a myth that was perpetuated by some fans. There is / was no official singles chart in Russia.

Because it has been hyped for several weeks on social media by both Sam & Madonna. It has all the ingredients for being a smash hit. Not to mention the fact it's Pride Month. Even Gimme and I'm Not Here to Make Friends did better.

Vulgar is nowhere to be found on the Spotify chart. I'm quite surprised it's flopping. :o
