I don't think we can compare. PP is a solo song, whereas P is just a feature. Let's be honest. The Weekend would get major playlist support even if he featured his dog on a song. :arrr:

Emma and Melanie attended Beyonce's concert in London yesterday.

The official Pride in London 2023 song. 6kilWikX2p0

The version you didn't know you needed. ;) i5j_CT7nyow

What?! Emma had just as many variants. Streaming-wise, Melanie's self-titled album has done much better. It also charted in more countries.

Northern Star 1) Ga Ga 2) Northern Star 3) Never Be the Same Again 4) I Turn To You 5) Closer Reason 1) Here It Comes Again 2) Let's Love 3) Melt Beautiful Intentions 1) Next Best Superstar 2) Little Piece of Me This Time 1) Understand 2) Carolyna 3) Already Gone The Sea 1) Think About It 2) One By One Stages 1) I Don't Know to Love Him 2) I Know Him So Well Version of Me 1) Anymore 2) Room for Love 3) Loving You Better 4) Dear Life Melanie C 1) Who I Am 2) Blame It On Me 3) In and Out of Love 4) Overload 5) Into You

Because she doesn't need to. She is just a feature on someone else's song. The Weeknd is HUGE on streaming. He doesn't need her endorsement. Vulgar is a different case. It's a joint single.

It's still not the huge international hit I expected it to be. Looks like it's flopping in the biggest markets: USA, France & Germany.

Could it be any more repetitive? :drama: Once you've heard the first 40 seconds, you've basically heard the entire song. :manson: 4qS9JUnTwww

Just a correction - it's only certified Platinum. I don't understand why as it was supposed to have set a record for biggest selling album by an ex UK girl group member at the time of release with over 900k UK sales. It was brought up on Denden because everyone thought it was Melanie C with Northern Star. It was then broken by Cheryl Cole and 3 Words.

Karma is a bitch.

Melanie will be performing at Weekender festival in Jersey on Saturday, September 2nd, 2023.

Melanie played a DJ set at Amber Lounge: Grand Prix After Party in Monaco on Sunday night: @1663179530717257731 She needs to get Fatman Scoop on a remix. :music:

That is astonishing! :o It also does better on streaming than #1 group hits such as Too Much, Goodbye and Holler.

Another snippet has just been released: 5z0USy5dnok Needless to say, it sounds vulgar. :coffee:

Melanie with Natalie Imbruglia. Are they recording together? :o With them is Phil Thornalley, the co-writer of Torn, who has worked with both Natalie and Melanie in the past. Fast forward one year, and guess what? Their collaboration, which is called All Summer Long, has recently been registered on a publishing website. I wonder if they plan to release it this Summer. :o

Unlike other recent anniversaries of key events, their social media hasn't acknowledged the anniversary of Geri's departure.

There should be a manual anti-reset rule, requested by the label public. :magic:

In a way, IF we are to believe the rumours, it feels like she quietly left the band right after they had completed the Wembley shows in 2019. :drama:

That's Weekend Love. Not Tell Me Why. :teresa:
