  1. Kylie & Lana have just proved that you can have a hit without major playlist support.
  2. Although it tries really hard to replicate it. This is Levitating's poor cousin. As Madge would say, this is reductive. The chorus is so weak. Considering the writers behind it, I'm really disappointed. This is her third underwhelming single in a row. It feels like TaP took her magic away when she decided to fire them.
  3. The 'More LDR' version is so much better! 2CnUYMmEHrs
  4. It's a shame Melanie didn't include High Heels on the deluxe edition of her self-titled album. Good Enough has twice as many streams as End of Everything. It could have been a great single.

They've got the wrong Ava song. :nono: dvLm14-zDM8

You just know how this is going to sound... :mansoncheer:
  7. I was really hoping K!tchen would experience a huge surge in streams in the wake of Tina's passing... Tina, Tina, Tina, turn it up :music: #justiceforfleur FrxVksN0VIU
  8. Oh, really? Who said that? Does this claim appear in any of the girls autobiographies? Or in David Sinclair's book? I think NOT. :coffee: No, this is you SPECULATING and stating your theories as facts, although you have no actual source to back up your claims. The Christmas in Spiceworld Tour isn't a proof they were meant to release an album in 1999. It was just a short & local tour.

  10. They (the four girls as well as their Virgin A&R) were not satisfied with the direction of the pop tracks that were recorded with Biff & Elliott. They wanted to change direction. There wasn't enough R&B material to choose from in order to release a 10-track album in November 1999. All their albums were released in early November. A global campaign needed to be planned several months in advance. So no, they couldn't have released an album (that they were happy with) in November 1999.

    Definitely! :kink:
  12. Considering it's Celine we are talking about, all the press and goodwill she got in the past year and the fact that it contains no less than 5 brand new tracks, that is a very, very poor result.
  13. Does it mean the 3am edition will no longer be a digital exclusive?
  14. Firstly, her solo career is not "shitty". Your opinion is. Secondly, she didn't "refuse to release Forever in 1999". The album simply wasn't ready, which is a simple fact that you refuse to comprehend.
  15. Melanie did not "throw the whole group in the bin". Victoria & Mel G (as she was known at the time) went to have their babies, so she made one of her own (in the form of Northern Star). Did you expect her to sit an entire year at home and do nothing? The best treatment to depression is to keep being busy. And that's exactly what she did. Also, let's not forget that Mel G was keen to kickstart her own solo career. She released Word Up in the first half on 1999. If it hadn't flopped, I'm sure she would have released Hot much sooner.
  16. What?! Tina was absolutely MASSIVE in the UK in her heyday. She's had multiple multi-platinum studio albums & compilations. She is adored by the British public. She also has a highly successful musical running in the West End that is still going strong after five years (and counting). She has also played Wembley Stadium. She really was one of The Best.
  17. Melanie will be headlining the Grand Prix Ball this year on July 5th in aid of UNICEF.
  18. Radio 1 doesn't touch solo Ellie Goulding any more, but it still playlisted her Calvin Harris collaboration.
  19. Say Yes to Heaven is on the verge of the Top 10 on iTunes. It's currently at #11.

The David Guetta remix is out now. When Loves Takes Over anyone? fjSi4lYcRWw
  21. I'm surprised to see Think About It getting more streams in the past year than more recent singles. It is definitely one of Melanie's most remembered singles from the Red Girl era.
  22. You just know that Madge won't rest until she gets a streaming hit. She has had countless attempts in the last few years. She must be seething seeing Kylie's astonishing success with Padam Padam. :kink:
  23. Too bad tomorrow's streams won't count towards the UK charts. Ugh! May she RIP. She really was simply the best.
  24. I'd never seen this interview before: FsD1S0KiIOQ
