Ireland (Eurosong) · Eurovision Song Contest 2022
I wanted this to qualify SO BADLY. I really love it, and big pop-girl anthems were sorely missed in the final this year (which was, of course, not a problem for Spain!)

GRAND FINAL · Eurovision Song Contest 2022
Genuinely can't wait to be able to come back at people with this result when people (inevitably) start spouting out this bullshit next year! People forget Jade and Blue's results... Apparently we're usually supposed to be given everyone's 12s each year for sending a song that's "quite nice" and doesn't even get placed in their own top 10... This year I've heard lots of people say "I love that song!" before they knew it was out Eurovision entry... Shock horror, we send songs people would actually choose to listen to, and we do well! (Though, it's pretty ironic that the one time we're blocked from winning, is the one time I agree there was political voting playing a notable part... 😂)

Eurovision Song Contest 2022 · Running Order Discussion
Tbf, I'll be done with the dull ballads before the second half. Then *that* happens... There might be enough variety to carry the first half through Just no at Czech and Romania being the first 2 though... Blowing 50% of the energy straight away (practically all gone by Norway [a couple of brief bursts aside...]), where is the STAMINA?! Not rushing into bed with anyone involved in this decision*...

United Kingdom · Eurovision Song Contest 2022
This. This. THIS. I'm fully expecting second with the juries (could be first, depends if juries give Ukraine the same landslide that I suspect they'll get from the televote [Note: this is in NO WAY a bad thing, this is the one year I actively condone "political" voting... Which I really do not think is usually a thing for the vast majority of voters anyway... Plus, the song is not that dissimilar to 'SHUM' last year, and that did really well anyway, so I think it's likely 'Stefania' would have done well regardless in a weaker year]). It may take a slight battering with the televote (do televoters tend to skew more to "bangers"?), but I'm hoping for Top 10/5, at least... Meaning hopefully at Top 5/3 should be on lock?

I'll watch this tomorrow... But the semi is full of less than brilliant songs. Shame my 5 least favourites hogged half the spots. 05 | 🇩🇰 REDDI - The Show 10 | 🇦🇹 LUM!X ft. Fully prepared for this to do a Torn... But... It really should be the new Everything I Do 🤷♂️ BANGER. (also, DEFINITELY sounds like tampon... You're not wrong about that...)

2022 Formula One Season
I've seen a lot of negatives... But I don't actually see what's been agreed as a particularly bad track...? (at least it's not in a literal CAR PARK again 😂) Yeah: it hardly looks like a challenge... But the cars going down the strip AT NIGHT (with all the glitzy lights) will look amazing, and it almost looks like a diet-Baku with the long straights/nearly 90° turns. (Actually, a better comparison... Aside from the small tighter section at the top, it's quite reminiscent of the Bahrain outer configuration [which turned out to be pretty decent!]) My main neg is a third US race clogging up the calendar (when Kyalami is literally waiting in the wings for a Grade 1 license/slot), which is countered by the relief that it's not in another "who gives a shit about human rights, anyway?" country *cough* most of the middle east countries/russia/china */cough* (even if this reeks of money talks, and there's certainly better places for inclusion still...)

Number 1 album for 25th march
Feeder have 7 sales from me (dunno if this is good or bad lol). CD, Picture Disc, Purple Vinyl, Red Vinyl, Purple Cassette, Red Cassette, and another CD as part of the instore... It's my favourite of theirs in years. I'd be so happy if they finally nabbed a number one 🙈

iTunes Album Chart ~ 2022

-
Number 1 album for 25th march
It'll be either ArrDee, Charli, or Feeder (maybe wishful thinking... But I've seen some great reviews, and I could definitely see them doing 10kish). Probably in that order.
-
iTunes Album Chart ~ 2022
Pretty sure it'll be ArrDee or Charli (I REALLY wanted to say Feeder, but there's not a chance in hell they'll pick up the streams to bridge what I think will be the gap between ArrDee's and theirs - although think they're in with a shot at sales #1 [or physical #1, at the very least]) I predict... Sales: 1) Feeder 2) Charli 3) Sea Girls Streams: 1) ArrDee 2) None of the above 3) None of the above Combined: 1) ArrDee 2) Charli 3) Feeder

Sea Girls - Homesick
My quiet week for Feeder is getting too busy 😭😭😭

UK vs the World // Episode 5
Have I been watching something else...? To me, Blu has come across as the most consistently brilliant across the season. This week is the first week they shouldn't have been top 3... And even then, there was practically nothing between Blu, Janey, and Juju, to me. Likewise, Mo hasn't had a bad week... But has never really excelled until this week. They're the only viable winners in my eyes. Baga's been easily the worst across the season... Have no idea what the judges have been watching. Aside from the lipsync... And IDENTICAL track record to Blu... REALLY?!

UK Versus The World // Episode 2
Mostly agreed on the Juju comments here... I love her to pieces, but when she walks out in that (supposedly cat) dress, I said "no Juju, that's not enough...". I think they've kept her in to keep US fans interested, not really understanding that she would be the draw to the series, and people would carry on watching and be GRATEFUL someone doing a half-arsed job has (correctly) been eliminated. There's no reason why any of these queens wouldn't appeal to US viewers (particularly the very specific demographic that Drag Race caters to [i'd be surprised if most US subscribers to WOW for Drag Race hadn't bothered with all the English speaking versions, at least]). THAT Said... Simply 'not bringing it' wasn't enough for bottom two, for me, this week... That should be reserved for Baga (especially) and Cheryl's hideous looks. 😂 I was convinced on a Blu/Monique top two until the last look. I think tops were just about right... Jimbo clearly won. Monique/Blu/Pangina/Janey all were solid with notable highs and drawbacks! Blu's doing a solid job so far, and I don't think she's gonna do a bad look, so if she falters it'll be purely challenge based.

UK Versus The World // Episode 1
For me... Pre-lipsync, I'd go: Jimbo Pangina/Blu (better runway/better performance) Then the rest as a tussle for bottom two. Though I actually really enjoyed all! Monique had the worst 'act', but probably one of the best looks... Baga's was a decent act (I found it tacky, but entertaining), but the runway was easily the worst. I think I'd have placed Lemon and (maybe) Jujubee (as much as I love her) bottom...
