  1. I don't think it will crack the top five. Maybe 7 or 6. Anyone know how it is doing at Radio?
  2. I doubt the album would get such a late release next year. I imagine Live Nation would want an album out by Spring 2010 at the very latest.
  3. Maybe not one of her enduring songs but a great tune and beats most of the songs around at the moment.
  4. oops! I was looking at th wrong sales week. The sales increased by 9000 or so. I guess even half of that increase should be enough to give the single a big increase.
  5. Only the remixes will help the track in a significant way. The week that the phyisical release of 4 minutes was issued saw a drop in sales.
  6. Agreed it just be delayed until 2009, otherwise Hard Candy won't get a tour/xmas sales push. You would assume the hits package will be a definitive collection spanning her whole career. But I won't hold my breath.
  7. I think it will finish around 400-420K by the end of the year.
  8. I think it will struggle to get into the top five.
  9. It has been pushed up to the A-list on Radio 1 and it is also on the C-List for Radio 2. This means more expsore over the next few weeks which in turn means big climbs up the chart.
  10. yea lets hope the single gives the album a "push" up the charts especially since its fell to number 31 in the US.
  11. Let's hope for a large jump this week.
  12. jules25 posted a post in a topic in Madonna's Madonna
10/10 arguably Madonna's third career defining song.
  13. In Order of Year of release Borderline Crazy for you Into the Groove Dress you up Open your heart Like a Prayer Promise to Try (Album track) Vogue This used to be my playground Deeper & Deeper Secret Take a bow Don't stop (Album track) One more chance Ray of light Sky fits Heaven (Album track) Beautiful stranger Music Impossible instant (Album track) Hung up There are so many Madonna songs that I love that a top 20 was hard to come up with. The surprising thing was how many album tracks I prefer to singles. Honorable mention goes to Luck Star/Live to tell/Cherish/Oh! father/Justify my love/Rain/You'll See/Frozen/Power of Goodbye/Don't tell me/Die another day/Mother and Father/Sorry. Possible top 20 in the near future. Give it to me/Miles away/She's not me/Devil wouldn't recognise you
  14. I think Give it 2 me is a good second single but I agree a slow song would def bring people to the album esp as Radio 2 would play it, which means a bigger and widder auidence.
  15. sadly the album has slippes to 4 and 4 minutes is around 250 copies behind the ting tings.
  16. I think this album will struggle to reach a million in the UK sadly.
  17. 4 minutes give it 2 me she's not me (with an awesome video of drag queens dressed up as her music rivals) DWRY
  18. Fingers crossed for a fourth week. Can anyone in the know post wed mid-week.
  19. woo-hoo number one for a third week. I think it could manage another week and a fifth would be great as it would be her longest staying number one in the UK.
  20. “I don't really pay any attention to it, but I love her new record, 'Touch My Body’. It's good. I exercise to it everyday," she said source: http://www.ibnlive.com/news/madonnas-lates...op/64527-8.html quote from Madonna. Sorry just wanted to prove my point that she wouldnt have been talikng about Mariah's album. :)
  21. March 4 minutes June Give it me Sept She's not me Dec Miles Away I doubt a fifth single would be released as the GH will be out
  22. Sweet interview. I think M is talking about Mariah's single. Do you honestly think she would listen to a whole Scarey album?
  23. Give it to me is a good choice for a single followed by either she's not me or DWRY then Miles away for the xmas season.
  24. Madonna's days of selling over 400k are behind her and over 300k is something she can manage in the high selling season of Nov/Dec. 200k+ and a number one position is great.
  25. number 4 it is this week. let's hope it's not the songs peak.
