Pink to be awarded Outstanding Contribution to Music Award
Forgot about U2. I don't really take much notice of the Brit awards tbh so when I saw a lot of articles saying she's the first international artist to win this award I assumed they were right

Films You Have Watched In 2019!
Just watched A star is born. Great movie. Not really a fan of Lady Gaga, but there is no denying that she has incredible talent 👍

Concerts
I'm similar age and I'm so unfit. I've booked the week off work so I have time to recover after  I noticed you're seeing the Spice Girls, if Pink hadn't been touring I would've tried for Spice Girls tickets. Loved them back in the day! Spent a small fortune on Pink tickets though so doubt I will go to any other concerts this year

QUEEN: GREATEST HITS SURVIVOR - ROUND 14
Another bites the dust. All great songs but went for ABTD instead of Don't stop me now because it always reminds me of Shaun of the dead  Out of the three, Bo Rhap is my favourite

Pink to be awarded Outstanding Contribution to Music Award
She is the first international artist to be given this award, I was surprised to see she is getting it too as she is not British, but its great that she's getting the recognition she deserves this week. Now all she needs is to win this grammy

Pink to be awarded Outstanding Contribution to Music Award
She follows the likes of Elton John, the Spice Girls and the late David Bowie in collecting the honour Pink will be honoured at the 2019 BRIT Awards with the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award. The award has not been presented at the BRITs since 2012, when Blur were the recipients. Other previous winners of the prize include Sir Elton John, the Spice Girls and the late David Bowie. “I am so honoured to be recognised with the Outstanding Contribution To Music Award at the 2019 BRITs!” Pink said in a statement. “Since the beginning of my career the British fans have been some of the most fierce and loyal in the world. I am humbled to receive this honour and be in the company of an illustrious group of British icons!” The artist, who will be the first international musician to receive the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award, will close the 2019 BRIT Awards with a special live performance. “Pink is a trailblazer, a phenomenally talented singer and songwriter, and truly one of the greatest artists of our time,” BRITs Chairman Jason Iley said. “It is a real pleasure to honour her at this year’s BRIT Awards with the Outstanding Contribution To Music Award. “With her remarkable career spanning nearly 20 years, Pink is one of the most successful artists in the world, consistently releasing multi-million-selling albums and selling out tours all over the globe. I am really excited to welcome her back to The BRITs and to recognise her prodigious success.”

Hurts 2B Human [NEW ALBUM]
I just hope she doesn't burn herself out. She literally has no time to promote this album. BT tour starts again 1st March in US until 22nd May so I expect there will be little promo around the release of the album. Then the European tour starts 16th June. She's already told us how hard it is to tour with two young kids, add to that a new album to promote too... But I trust her, she knows what she's doing, she has been releasing music long enough  I guess music and its releases/tour etc are very different these days compared to previous eras. Its only been announced today and already I'm waiting impatiently for track list, new photoshoots and snippets :P I hope we get more photoshoots for this album, I felt there wasn't much from BT :w00t:

Hurts 2B Human [NEW ALBUM]
Yeah this is true. I had heard in early 2016 that she had almost finished the album (or a good deal of it was done at least). Then it had to be delayed because of her pregnancy so they only released just like fire and held on to the album.

Hurts 2B Human [NEW ALBUM]
I don't think it'll have been rushed, she's obviously recorded new stuff while she's been off tour, but she could also use leftover tracks from BT as well. I also wonder if she's releasing it now (rather than after the beautiful trauma tour has ended) because the tour has carried on so long since BT's release, especially in Europe.
