BJSC XLVI. Results
:cheer: My 12 won, amazing song! :D It was pretty tense in the end. I'm really happy that Bomb didn't win also. Pleased to see Ashton and Daehun perform so well too.

BJSC XLVI. Final
Sent in my votes last night. You got them right?

BJSC XLVI. Semi Final Results!
Gutted for Greenfroze. If I had been in the other semi it surely would have been my 12 pointer. I actually tried to send it but you had already sent it. Haim was backup.

BJSC XLVI: Predictions
It was a very throwaway comment. I'm sorry if my choice of words distressed anyone, of course I understand that.

BJSC XLVI: Odds
This is the face I made listening to Bomb knowing it was the favourite.

True Blood | Season 5
The latest episode was really good. I liked how Tara and Jessica bonded although it doesn't seem to have lasted long. The whole Hoyt thing is still as bizarre as ever. I'm not sure but that speech that the authority made in the end, does that imply they're going to start turning humans into vampires in droves? It seemed to me that way, sounds very interesting.

Dalisska National Thread
So Dalisska has made it's return sending Haim with Forever: sEwM6ERq0gc I have known about Haim for a while now but didn't have a good chance to enter them anywhere. Now is the time though.

True Blood | Season 5
I liked the latest episode. I think Pam & Tara could end up being a very interesting duo. I'm still confused over what Hoyt was up to in the last episode, dressed up like a goth and hanging around the vampire bar. It was just so random and they didn't even mention it in this episode. I can't help but feel it's going to be something important somewhere down the line. Easily the most bizarre scene I've seen on true blood in the latest season. I can't get into the whole iraq war thing at all. What the heck is actually going on with that? It's boring me.

Buzzjack Song Contest XLVI. Confirmations
Well there does come a point when asking somebody to listen to a huge amount of songs in a certain amount of days can become a burden. You can't just keep adding and adding songs as you like...

Buzzjack Song Contest XLVI. Confirmations
Dalisska decided to join up again. Sort of because Deandria entered so I figured I should make a comeback too. I'm hopeful for the song I picked, I think it's very catchy. :)

Ireland 2012
I think the only other song that would have had a chance was "Here I Am". I do think it could have definitely have qualified if the performance at Eurovision was really anthemic and strong. I don't think any of the other four songs would have had a hope though. They really need to ditch those "Language of Love" type songs though. I could deal with almost any other type of song going to Eurovision, but if something like that was sent I'd be horribly horribly embarrassed for our country. They should have some kind of wildcard selection like what some other countries do. Put up a hundred or so songs on the internet and have people vote for a wildcard. (or two) We need some outside influence when it comes to picking songs for Eurosong. Lastly, I wouldn't be surprised if we had a Voice of Ireland reject in the eurosong lineup next year. There are some good quality singers from that with the right song could definitely qualify for us.

True Blood | Season 5
I thought the second episode wasn't up to much really. I mean it was a good episode but nothing really of consequence happened. It was a real setting up episode. The only interesting thing I could say that happened is the little child turning out to be a wolf.

Green Room [2012]
Ok so I've had some bizarre Eurovision related dreams in the past but this one really takes the cake. I had a dream about Eurovision 2013 in Sweden. Somebody sent a giant singing spider as their entry. Not only that but a hysterical Alexandra Burke rushed the stage begging people to vote for the spider....she was dragged off stage kicking and screaming support for the singing spider.

TELEVOTE/JURY SPLITS 2012
I've seen it mentioned a few times. (I'm not just talking about on here) but you're right, it's definitely not as often as before.
-
TELEVOTE/JURY SPLITS 2012
One thing I get from all this is that the juries really aren't the heroes of sanity people portray them to be. Like when people say they're relying on the juries to save their favourite song that the public apparently won't get. There were many cases the public were more sane. (I never thought I would call a public vote sane.) I don't think anybody was expecting the public vote to be so positive for Albania. Big shame for the Netherlands. :(

Just listened to the song again on youtube, wow I don't remember it being so awful. I think it might have been because I thought for some reason it was all the things she said that they sang at Eurovision.

Ireland 2012
San Marino is a funny one, they gave Ireland 12 points in the semi and then gave us nothing in the final. What's up with that?

Final Scorecard
Estonian is a really nice language. I might be slightly biased having an Estonian as my best friend. :P (The song was a real grower though)
-
Albania 2012
Suus really grew on me this year, I really enjoyed it. I almost voted for it in the final, but I absolutely loved Spain so I put most of my attention towards that song. Really happy to see Albania come 5th. (and Estonia 6th)

THE FINAL [2012]
Azerbaijan doing so well was annoying too, although I suppose I can see how people liked it. (even though I'd argue there were many countries that did similar songs far better) She's not a patch on Pastora.

THE FINAL [2012]
Yeah, my mum actually mentioned this last night. That the song wouldn't be nearly as good if you stripped away all the camera work and unusual dance steps. I'd have to agree with that assessment, I like the song/performance but I think I'd get bored of it really fast just listening to it on the ipod.
-
Who did you vote for?
Voted for Spain four times, Iceland once and Italy once. Of course that then translated to just two points for Italy from Ireland. :( There was other countries I enjoyed, but Spain blew me away with that stunning performance I just couldn't waste my money on much else.

THE FINAL [2012]
Imagine if Sweden had an INTERNAL SELECTION :drama:

THE FINAL [2012]
I'm looking forward to some great hosts next year. The Azerbaijan hosts were starting to loosen slightly by the final, but they were still awfully wooden. Eldar always seemed so insincere too.
