Personally I just can't see an Armenia victory after tonight, I really can't.

Have to say San Marino qualifying was a serious "Dayum! :o" moment. I'm happy for them even though vola was way better. I guess I underestimated the power of singing in English. Also chuffed for Montenegro getting through. Overall 6 of my top 10 got through. (7 out of 11 if I count Armenia in 11th) Which is pretty good considering most of them were my top picks. Gutted for Albania and Portugal though. Portugal clicked with me tonight for the first time and now it's gone. :( .

Armenia was a real let down for me, and Portugal really took me by surprise. Very impressive performance! I think they could be in with a big shot of qualifying, Netherlands too. My new qualifiers: Estonia Sweden Iceland Albania Moldova The Netherlands Azerbaijan Portugal Montenegro Hungary Ukraine's performance and song is not very good, all I remember is the chorus and the rest is pure wallpaper.

Armenia really underwhelmed, considering it's the supposed favourite....

It feels very open to me. I think Iceland has a charming quality that'll make them a hit, I just can't see them not qualifying somehow. I think this being the last season is fair enough, I've been losing interest in it recently. Still sad to see it go.

I've noticed some weird things like that too. For example one of the finals I did had Israel and Belgium in the top two with Belgium winning by about 10 points. However Israel came 1st and 4th (public & jury) while Belgium came 2nd and 6th. It didn't make a lick of sense.

The more I watch this show the more I realise that if the parents hadn't all be so vile, a whole lot of destruction and heartbreak could have been avoided. It kinda makes me wish for a villain who's just satanically evil just for the heck of it.

Just did one with diaspora and odds on. Norway won with 233 points. Armenia in 2nd, Italy in 3rd and Sweden in 4th. Those four broke away early on so I knew it would be one of them. Ireland came 16th and the UK came 17th. Malta came last with 11 points. For some bizarre reason Montenegro and Moldova both gave Ireland 12 points. Oh and here's the CORKER. If the final was only based on jury votes Belarus would have won.

Tough to call this one outside of Ace Wilder sailing through to the final. CasjaStina is the only one I feel certain will flop. Outrigger too although I'm still hoping they can pull it off.

I wouldn't have an issue with Australia competing, the only thing I'd wonder is how long then until the USA wanted to enter, or New Zealand, or Japan? I suppose given Australia's relationship with the contest, a special permission could be given. As for the time difference, couldn't they show the second rehearsals and let the Australian public vote on it a day (or even hours) before the actual live show. It's not impossible to deal with if the desire is there.
