Dinosaurs On A Spaceship The latest episode was pretty good although I have to say I didn't feel the desperation that usually follows Cybermen around. Not enough people being converted into cybermen for my liking.

I just can't see Estonia having a hope on Tuesday. A very pleasant but middle of the road song performing 2nd (supposedly the death slot) and will likely have been forgotten by most voters by the time the last song has been performed. It couldn't possibly have much more going against it. On one hand I feel bad for Estonia....but on the other hand they only have themselves to blame for not picking Grete Paia instead.

I'll be bragging here on Saturday about how Italy made it the final. How about that for confidence? B-)

Is there anywhere online I could watch this? I'm not sure if living in Ireland I'll be able to use the bbc iplayer.....

Blue = Semi One Green = Semi Two Orange = Pre qualified I'll probably end up voting for the Netherlands and Montenegro (maybe Ukraine but I feel the previous two need my help more) on Tuesday, unless I get really wowed by something else.

He was a good bit better on the late late show last week. I think we have a fair shot at qualifying on Tuesday (after all we're in a perfect performing slot too) but I'm not sure if we'll get that good a result in the final.

I'll be very shocked if the Netherlands doesn't qualify on Tuesday.

The last episode made me wish that Jenny Flint was the doctor's companion and not Clara. I'd love to see a spin off show with Madame Vastra, Jenny and Strax.

(I haven't seen rehearsal yet so I don't know what it's like) I think songs like Russia, Belarus and Moldova will be inoffensively nice and benefit from the new voting system. Belarus in particular. Macedonia 17. Latvia I think Hungary could be a bit of a dark horse in the semis....the one that lands in 10th place that nobody thought it would qualify. (There always seems to be at least one) As much as I like Bulgaria I feel the song might end up being too polarizing and be hurt by the new voting system. :( I think Norway and Greece have the top two in the bag. It's harder to call this year though, the new voting system could turn everything on it's head.

Just watched the last episode. Personally I thought it was extremely messy and chaotic and not in the good way......and the storyline itself wasn't particularly interesting. It was an alright episode. The best part was at the start when you saw all the aliens moving around the market. I still can't really warm to Clara. I just don't find her believable. 1. Dinosaurs On A Spaceship The Bells of Saint John was enjoyable, but it felt very much like a safe return to the series. Also I'm not sure if I like Clara, she seems far too quippy and unbelievable a character. I was actually surprised when she started screaming on the plane, I thought she'd laugh instead or make some sarcastic comment. Any time Clara responds to something it has this weird tone that makes her sound insincere.

Ugh if Ireland ends up giving Russia more points than Norway in the final. :puke2:

Just came across this new site called SMGO.TV http://www.smgo.tv/ They claim that by crowdfunding and making deals with studios they can bring back recently cancelled shows (also older cancelled shows but the process of getting the team back together would be far more difficult in those cases) If you fund a new season of a cancelled show you can then watch it on their website with no advertisements (other people can watch them too but they get advertisements, like with HULU) It launched on 15th of March but they were shocked by the amount of attention they got, so it looks like they're going offline next week for a closed test with industry insiders. I believe somebody who worked on one of the shows (Green Lantern I think) was talking to one of the creators and has been supporting them on twitter. Not only that but this person who worked on the show has said the studio (Warner Bros) has already agreed with SMGO.TV So it looks like it's legitmate. It looks interesting, I'm cautiously optimistic at the moment. It's not so much that I'm suspicious that I'm curious whether they can actually pull this off. I've definitely had shows cancelled before (and recently too) so if there's an avenue to give power to the people I'm interested.
