i totally agree... it's truly a classic and it's really underrated... in my opinion it's up there with some of the best X-Mas classics of all time.. it was only ignored because it's Britney..

i would've love to have included the Pet Shop Boys instead of the dire U2, but they haven't sold much of their album unfortunatly...

it's a very tight fight between Whitney, Shakira & Lily Allen...

yes but her first single 'Just Dance' was released this year in the UK.... anyway she seems to be crushing the competition!!!!

their big hits were last year... Pink's biggest hit this year was 'Sober' reaching number 9 while Britney reached number 7 with '3'... all the ones mentioned above have had bigger or more hit songs or albums this year.

i think physicals helped non-established acts to make it into the charts... if u compare the number of new acts reaching the top 75 back in the late 90's and early 00's and the number of new acts reaching the charts now... we know we have a lot less new acts making it, which is a shame caus' we need new blood in the music industry and not only the ones imposed to us by marketing giants and talent shows... plus lack of physicals is leading to many older established acts to flop, just look at what happened to Kylie's 'The One', Madonna's 'Miles away', Natalie Imbruglia's 'Want' to name but a few.. who would have thought this would happen???

you're soo right. The internet market should make all the market global otherwise what's the point of it? 7 Digital is one of those sites that you can download from anywhere in the world. iTunes and Amazon should do the same too.
