wow #40 needs around 35K downloads?

Was wondering what the figurers are in the USA? Like position #40 in UK is around 4-6K.. Whats state side? Am guessing much larger? Tried digging around on forum but it all seems to be albums?

ok so at around... Top 5 - 50-30K Top 10 - ? Top 20 - Top 30 - 15-10K? Top 40 - 10 - 4K Top 50 - Top 75 - Top 100 - Of course estimates/ruff figures, can we fill in my blanks? I tried looking in statistics but music week dosnt cover much..

yeah PR is pushing that now, we probably wont come in as new entry to top 40, probably wont hit national exposure till a few weeks in.. =/

Sorry for late response, hella busy.. Iam uploading the music video tomorrow! Weve got 2 PR companys doing campaigns.. And have had single of the month and week on several sites that reviewed us. Everyone that hears the track is excited, its just getting it to radio in time, we also are pushing for SMS pre orders on the street, were looking at about 2K of them.. BTW I thought #40 only had around 4K downloads?

Am releasing a single November 10th...(digital only) Were looking at around 2-3K downloads... Looking at some of the figures on here, that could be a Top 40 position? Anyone know what the statistics are for November, is it a slow month? Could download numbers be even lower to hit top 40 or higher? :huh: Thanks!!

was just wondering, how many times can you buy the same single from itunes form the same PC..And is it counted towards chart listing?

anyone got an estimate on how many downloads it takes to get into the top 10, UK singles chart, first week... Or a place i can view some numbers week by week..ive checked the above and it was more on total numbers..i need a week by week number, if possible... Also anyone have info on how music is registered to the UK top 40 chart? Once music is on itunes does it automaticly count it for the UK chart?
