  1. Pearl Jam Stones RATM White Stripes
  2. I see you are a Gills fan. Do you remember Ian Docker? That is the guy who works with me.
  3. No I don't agree atall. Any chance of any examples to back up your opinion?
  4. Big love for Tool and Stinkfist! Great call.
  5. Why would you have pissed anyone off? Because of your nominations?
  6. Been listening to this today and it has not disappointed me in the slightest. I love Luke Pritchards voice so much. I could listen to him all day. I love the mix of songs on this album. I didn't think they could match Inside In/Inside Out for me, as second albums so often disappoint, but I really like this and it is going to get a lot of play in my car.
  7. My Nephew is at the youth academy here and the guy I work with is the coach for the Youth Team. It is actually going pretty well and they have over 35,000 members signed up so far from all over the world. They also are in the final of the FA Trophy on 10th May so it can't be all bad. I just secured my tickets and I can't wait!

Thousand apologies if a thread like this already exists, but it would take me a good while to go through all the existing threads. Anyone know much about Pennywise? My friend passed me on their latest album and I love it. Just what I need on a Monday morning to get me upbeat. Found their myspace page, but I figured there might be someone on here that knows more. Ta.
  9. My thoughts pretty much echo what everyone else has said. 1. Who cares? 2. If they had stuck to their original style, and Preston had not sold his soul to the BB devil I am sure they would have been going strong. Their style was unique and there was a market for it. 3. Chantelle....WTF was all that about? That to me was the demise of Preston and his gang....
  10. But if you consider their older stuff that really is the benchmark for their success. The fact that the music channels/radio shows go overkill on certain songs/bands is not their fault, and isn't really a factor for not voting for them. Take Valerie for example. I really like The Zutons, but once there was overkill on the Mark Ronson/Amy Winehouse version, (who I also love), it now sends shivers down my spine when it comes on.
  11. I'll nominate two bands. 1. Foo Fighters. For me anything Dave Grohl touches turns to gold. I know the Foos have not received great reviews for their latest efforts but you really can't fault their inimitable style. http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g230/cazeur/foo-fighters.jpg Best Single: Everlong? Monkey Wrench? You decide. Best Album: The Colour And The Shape 2. Pearl Jam Apart from the fact Eddie Vedder is sex on legs, his voice just rumbles through you and draws you in. Proper rock how it should be done. http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g230/cazeur/pearl.jpg Best Single: Alive Best Album: Ten
