Welcome to the fourth edition of Buzzjackfestivalen! :cheer: Now, before we start, this competition is based on the same format used in Melodifestivalen and it will tour the following four wonderful nations of Ashton, Daehun, Espen, and Bignia-Zaragovina. Each host will present a heat, and details on format are to be confirmed! :o Before we begin the confirmation process, here are some little rules in addition to the normal BJSC rules: - Songs must be a maximum of 3 minutes in length. They can be shorter if you wish, but not a second over 3:00. The video can be longer than 3 minutes, as long as the song itself is 3:00 or shorter. You can also enter a song longer than 3 minutes if you are willing to edit it down for the purposes of the competition. If there is any doubt then PM either myself, Yu, Silas or Jahq. - No Eurovision or Junior Eurovision songs are allowed, nor are any songs that have competed in national finals for either of these competitions. Of course Eurovision artists are allowed, but not with the song(s) they entered with. - Please at least TRY to be inspired. This is less strict than the regular BJSC but the mods reserve the right to flush anything that takes the piss. You've been warned! Confirmations will take place the same way as the regular BJSC, via PM. Please send your confirmation to me (Cal), in the following format: Country: Artist: Song: Link: MP3: You MUST send an MP3 at some stage before confirmations close. I'll be responsible for collating and uploading the OFFICIAL Buzzjackfestivalen CD, so if you want your MP3 to be in it and of good quality then it's up to you to give it me. If I don't receive one then I'll be using whatever I find, so don't be awkward. You are allowed to make TWO changes to your confirmation, so be sure of the song you want to send. I'd allow more but I'm stuck for time these days so make sure you're happy with your entry! Confirmation closes FRIDAY MAY 29 @23:59. The Heats will hopefully go live on the Monday evening. However, all dates are provisional because we're STILL totalitarian flops. Originally there will be only 24 of 28 places available (the 4 hosts automatically have a spot in a heat), but we can raise that number provided that we can do so in batches of four in order to ensure that each heat has an equal number of participants. If the song itself is 3 minutes or under in the video then it doesn't matter how long the video is, but if the video version of the song is longer than 3 minutes then you'll have to upload a video that is exactly 3 minutes. :D

Confirmations should be open at 9:30PM-ish kinda. Just need to eat and sort a few things out!

Buzzjackfestivalen 2015 Hello all! It's that time of year again! :o I haven't had the time to do any graphics yet but I might be able to throw together a few bits over the next few days or so. But anyway, welcome to Buzzjackfestivalen! We're taking a wee break from BJSC, but Mikey should be with you for the next edition at the end of June. This little spin-off is here for those of you who wish to participate. It doesn't count towards stats or anything - it's purely a bit of fun! This spin-off is based on the Swedish Eurovision national final process Melodifestivalen. Such a shame Ireland missed out again (and with such a lovely song) but I expected it to happen after the semi slots were revealed. It was a great performance and it was the first time in years I didn't CRINGE at our entry so I'm still delighted for her. But, POLAND getting through is pure bollocks. Really delighted for Norway and Latvia though. I hope they can both come close to the top. :wub:
