Hi, John! :D thank you for comment. Paranoid is an absolute rock classic. I believe Sabbath recorded many classic tracks during their long career (even after Ozzy has left them). I consider Sabbath with Ronnie James Dio was fantastic, especially 1980 album "Heaven and Hell". I'm glad that you have so busy chart, John. So do i. There are 13 songs in my Bubbling under Top 50 today, but new week hasn't even started yet. I don't think that eurovision will affect my chart (though you never can tell). However i also believe that May is going to be crazy in my Chart. ;)

Great Chart! Even though i'm familiar with only 15-20% of your list. Should check some of those tracks I guess there must be pearls among them. Diane Young (w/ Step as double A-side) just have topped my Chart for 4 consecutive week. Strypes are fantastic! Good old rhythm and blues in its best! :heart: As for old records... to each his own as they say. I've been avoided old records in my Charts for more than 3 years, but now i decided to add the old records which used in recent TV ad and the ones that came as promo for re-releases. I still have enough of new records to put in my Chart (so no old song required to fill in the gap), but old records make my Chart more... various. So i decided let them go in.

Hi John! Great Chart! I'm glad that BAKER STREET reached No.1 in your Chart. I've always thought it should have topped the UK chart instead of Matchstalk Men. Also like to see I CAN'T STAND THE RAIN at No.4. This song has been hugely popular in USSR in the late 70's. As well as One Way Ticket, another Eruption song. And FANTASY is perhaps my favourite "Earth, Wind & Fire" song. Nice that you charted it higher than BMRB. Generaly, if judge by your chart seems like you had fun time back in April 78, John. Mostly you picked up jolly dance tracks for your Chart. And that's how i remember the late 70's as well. :)

Sort of surprise for me. I've always thought it was No.2 hit back in 1979. And her follow up single Bad Girls reached only No.14. Amazingly that this has happened in the year when disco music was going through its heyday.

I love the Undertones. They had their style. "Wednesday Week" is my fave track from them. I also like a lot "Teenage Kicks" and "My Perfect Cousin". However, i consider them more like the band who were doing great singles, but didn't manage to do a truely great album (like the Jam did with "All Mod Cons" or "Boomtown Rats" with "The Fine Art of Surfacing"). Each of their albums have 3-4 very good track and the other are fillers.
