Thank you, John! David Byrne's collaboration with St. Vincent is terrific! You really should give it a try. This song melodically sounds like Talking Heads at their best. I regret it peaked so low in my Chart. Should be a Top 5 hit at least. Strangler's single sounds quite good too. It has a keyboard based melody and elastic bass which The Stranglers have always been famous for.

Hi John! Nice to see Kylie making a big jump into Top10! Not that i'm a Kylie's fan, but Flower is a nice track, her best in ages... I'm in the mood for seeing 007 this weekend (even though my wife is going to take me to Hotel Transylvania). I love Bond's film series. Irrelatively of music. But this time, i also want to sense how Adel's song will be sounding through the big dynamics and with surround sound. A lovely theme, which has got the Bond's 60s retro feeling. Glad to see The Rolling Stones among the new entries. Hope Number 60 is not the highest place they'll reach.

Thanks for the memories, John! :D I loved "You Win Again" at the time of its release (i even went to buy E.S.P album some weeks later), but "Little Lies" and "Crocketts's Theme" were my favourite singles then. Even though i've never seen "Miami Vice". Yes, "Pump Up The Volume" was a significant track! This one and "Beat Dis" by "Bomb the Bass" were the stuff the House music were built on.

John, if only i may advice you... the weeks on chart is very useful info too, i suppose. If i were you i would left all the columns you have had and just add one new. If it'll not cause you any trouble, for sure... You can leave as it is. Maybe it's only me, who pay attention to that point. So take it easy, John :) Oh i really should give a try to that ABBA album. I love The Day Before You Came, The Eagle and One Of Us. But somehow it happened that i've never heard the whole album.

In fact, next week turned 3 years to my Personal Charts. :D

Actually i regret this song has been No.1 for just 2 weeks. If i could turn back time i held it at the top spot for the longer period of time cause it's really fantastic song! I see what you mean talking 'bout competitive time. I used to have time when 3 or 4 songs pretend to No.1 at the same time. SBTRKT stopped M83 from being at the top, but they spent 2 weeks at No.2 in the beginning of September. And that was the time when Holocene by BON IVER also stopped at No.2. And Ritual Union by LITTLE DRAGON also didn't manage to step further than No.2. I always love and hate such times at the same time :D

It would be very interesting to see your early Charts (especially 2006-09). :) Also I'd be glad to see your recent Charts regularly. There's always something good among your entries. Recently through you Charts i've discovered FRANK OCEAN's Pyramids (my next week's highest new entry), WYE OAK's Spiral (my last week's No.14), GRIZZLY BEAR's Yet Again (peaked at 14 a month ago) and THE AFGHAN WHIGS' Lovecrimes (2 weeks at 4 in September).

I bought Wrecking Ball album this Summer and i think it's his greatest work in years. Great choice for Number Ones, John! I think i was a bigger Duranist than you. :D I loved Rio, Is There Something I Should Know?, Union of the Snake, New Moon on Monday, The Reflex, A View to a Kill and Notorious as much that it would surely have been the charttoppers. Absolutely agree with you on Weller's solo and Style Council Number One choice. And what about the Jam's "Start" single? Could you forgive Taxman's rip off to Godfather of Mod? :D

I wonder which Duran Duran tracks went to No.1 in your Chart? I so envy you that you saw the Jam live. I love Paul Weller in all of his phases. Though his solo works after Stanley Road were quite disappointing. And Sonik Kicks is an awful album, in my opinion. So i see your regret on his latest gig perfectly well.
