Tbh when Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande are streaming smash hits with those borefests just because of who they are, I'd rather have Madonna's output a million times over. And people have the audacity to criticise her almost at 68, 40 years into her career.

i suggest you can check out Madonnanation forum, their charts section is quite informative in terms of Madonna only chart stuff and stream numbers.

It's sad to see that real Madonna fans are super excited with the era but it is not really reflected here with the general public. Someone said her work isn't as good as it was 40 years ago, which is 1986. 😄True Blue? Anyway, as a 90s house music lover, i love all 3 tracks she released so far and am super excited with the previews in this epic video.

Madonna has been on holiday in Italy for the last week. I don’t think she gives a flying f..k about her chart position in the UK with a remix album.

I’m glad radio is very supportive of Stupid Love to keep it top 20 in the UK. 👏👏 It’s literally tumbling down in every chart in the world 😢 but people has to be made aware it’s one of the best pop songs ever written.

I just didn't expect her to plummet like she is, that's all.

How come Gaga down to #15 in her only second week?

Thank you for that! I am a bit confused though, if the songs are bought part of the pre order they wouldn't appear in iTunes songs chart but only in albums chart, right? I thought the songs that are charting are the ones that are bought individually?

I wonder how radio 1 would cope with Madonna, if any of her songs chart in top 40. She is totally banned, right?

The main reason M didn't have a hit single from this album is not the quality of the songs! Don't tell me every song in top 10 are better than GGW. It's just because she had nil promo cause she is so over that and radio1 openly refuses to play her now because they admitted they are agists against artists they play.

How come Adele still selling so much? Go away woman already!

I can't believe something as vile as one direction can be popular in the US. Sad day for the music world.

Does anyone have any idea why Madonna's GMAYL doing so badly in the UK? Don't thInk it's a bad song, it's very catchy and there is so much shite out there doing much better. Even beyonce did better with that lead single.

She might be relevant but unfortunately radio 1 IS agist. They did not add Celebration till later and even then it was C list or something. And overall they hardly played it, at least i never heard them playing it, not even once. Madonna achieved the no3 with nil help from Radio 1, thank you.

It's interesting to see people who are desperate to hear Vogue or Music live. They are both up beat pop - dance songs. Not ballads!! Who cares about miming? Madonna is all about spectacle and THAT was sensational! BEPs sang live last year and they were trashed for sounding rubbish. She can't do any right, singing live or miming!!

Most loyalists got the single free thru the pre-order of the album and as far as I'm aware that doesn't count towards the chart. I think her position is based on individual single purchases alone and i would imagine that would be very little in comparison to album pre-orders. Plus it's been nil promo in the UK yet. Tomorrow night is her much anticipated super bowl performance, that might change things a bit. After all, she did say it will be the biggest show on earth.

Also this promo is itunes only till the 6th of feb, so after the 6th it will be available on other outlets like amazon. So i think the single should count after that date.

Why do people think it's flopping? Noone from general public actually know the song yet, it just went to radios today. The video has just come out too. Also I assume the single charting is the one purchased on its own without the pre-order deal. Most fans would have bought it with the album which doesn't count.

As far as I understand, this offer is only till 6th of feb. You get the single when you pre-order the album. Isn't that correct? So it should be eligible after this pre-order promotion is over on the 6th. I'm not 100% sure though.

Madonna - Ray of Light

Yes, pleeassee!

Ga Ga still #1??

It's so funny when I go onto my profile and look at my visitors, basically all of them are gaga fans it is hilarious. And no, I don't really have anything to do other than following gaga's chart !success! with her new album and singles.

Yes I totally agree, hopefully Ga Ga drops to #3 (cause it definitely does not deserve to occupy the #1 spot another week) and Adele is #1 again on sunday's chart. :)

Although she is fat, happy that adele is doing so well.
