  1. Pearl Jam announced as headline band for 2010 Hard Rock Calling Festival in Hyde Park. Excellent news can't wait to see this. http://www.hardrockcalling.co.uk/home/index.aspx
  2. Out of 9 studio albums 4 US number 1 albums 4 number 2's and a number 5 pretty big band. Not bad for a band still going after 18 yrs.
  3. Nice to see us Aussie's still have good taste in music with Pearl Jam debuting at number 1
  4. Pearl Jam - The Fixer was released today on DL physical is still 7th Sept.
  5. The other thing to add to this is different people have very different tolerances, what could put one person on their arse will barely make an impact on another. Having spent years working with heroin users I would not be surprised in the least that they would be able to pick up and gun and shoot themselves - it wouldn't be the first time someone has done it.
  6. Pearl Jam Ten Deluxe is released on 23/3/09 sorry not sure if you include re-issues or Deluxe's in the list.
  7. It was announced just prior to the performance that it will be however no word about when its being released, or even released to radio yet. Not bad based on one performance alone. Thought it was a great performance. In case anyone wants to see it heres the YT link http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=y7CN5T3k7ZI
  8. Got to agree i think people seem to forget he's only 19 and doesn't have anywhere near the level of experience almost every other XF contestant let alone winner has had. Not using that as an excuse but it is a fact personally even though i'm a fan i'm quite shocked at how much I like the album I didn't expect that to be honest. I think its a bit of a slow burn and as more people hear it they will but into it. Personally I don't think Don't Call This Love was the best choice for the first single but who knows many an artists sales peak after the 2nd or 3rd single.
  9. Yeah the nerves did I heard an interview with him yesterday and he said he was very frustrated as when he gets nervous his mouth dries up and it affects his vocal happens to the best of them Duran Duran were on last year and were absolutely dire. Also just as an aside I was at the studio for his performance and I can tell you the sound for entire show came over on TV alot worse than it did in the studio don't know what was up with that. We also spoke to him before the performance and he did admit to being very nervous.
  10. I think you have crossed wires here I think the other poster was referring to his performance on This Morning which I believe was a live performance whereas you are talking about his XF performance again which was live.
  11. Its debateable whether Don't Call this Love is a cover as it was likely recorded (or at least the rights to the song were purchashed) around the same time as the Swedish girl that did it.
  12. LOL great minds hey except our opinion is polls apart LOL.
  13. For those that are interested here is a preview of Leon's album tracks http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=-sFaSxbokxo
  14. Leon is getting tons of airplay hes on all the main playlists apart from radio 1, and its getting good reviews. I expect as soon as the video is available that will also get high rotation play. £100k at least I reckon - hopefully a shed load more.
