And also songs that you weren't aware of being that big do so well. Like Paolo Nutini - I knew it went top 5 and probably hung around for a while - but I didn't know it was in the top 20 of the year.

Terrific stuff. You said this already but this is a chart where I can't guess where things are going to be. So many of the #1 hits are gone.

But would all of those have still made #1? Even if the rules changed. The #1 on airplay is not always the #1 on the Hot 100: there could have been some big-selling songs out the weeks that Cardigans and Green Day were getting a lot of airplay. (The others I think would have topped the charts if they were #1 on airplay for so long.)

I thought maybe you'd been doing it through the year - that's forward thinking. Wish I had the patience to add them up all year. Count me as one who's looking forward to the rest of this chart. I see a Shakira/Kooks battle for #1.

I'm asking anyone who wants to answer. You said the chart was updated on Boxing Day - and I don't understand why there were still christmas songs so high if that's so.

The song with Da Brat was done for Da Brat's album. I've only heard a bit but it sounds pretty poor.

DFAU Part 2 is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's not the rubbish remix that was on the single with Bone Thugs. It's a remix done for a DJ Clue album with Fabolous and (I think) one of the Lox. You must get it.

She's been quoted saying it in the past. It's the sort of question she'll get asked a lot. No-one's really sure why Lorraine has such an issue with her - Richard & Judy said Mariah was lovely when she was on. (Then Richard also started going on about how polite JLo was. Mariah did not look pleased.)

It would have been #1 on physical sales apparently.
