Your most-played Mariah songs?
Here's my entry: Overall Top Artists 1 Mariah Carey 458 2 Black Eyed Peas 385 Of course Mariah is #1 on that list. No-one else is close Overall Top Tracks 4 Mariah Carey – Don't Forget About Us 159 5 Mariah Carey – We Belong Together (remix) 151 50 Mariah Carey – It's Like That 50 50 Busta Rhymes – I Know What You Want 50 118 Mariah Carey – We Belong Together 30 225 Jadakiss – U Make Me Wanna 16 321 Mariah Carey – Without You 11 371 Jay-Z – Things That U Do 8 414 Mariah Carey – Get Your Number 6 414 Mariah Carey – Misty Moon 6 I haven't ripped that many old Mariah songs (and I never ripped 'Mimi' in full) because I just listen to those albums on my mindisc. That's why there aren't that many songs by her that I've listened to lots.

Your most-played Mariah songs?
A little idea I had that I thought could lead to discussion. Those of you who have LastFM.... What are your top 5 or top 10 most-played Mariah songs? Where is Mariah on your most-played artists chart? Those of you who don't.... What Mariah songs have you been listening to the most since the 'Mimi' album was released? Do you still listen to the classics?

The Battle For The Christmas Number 1
X Factor will be #1. Even if it sold half of what Shayne Ward did, it will still be a hundred thousand copies ahead of the #2.

I hope not. I feel bad pestering people to vote by PM.

Glitter Survivor - The Final
It is a bit weird. But the song that's the least unpopular in a round in not always also the one that's most popular...

Glitter Survivor - The Final
I didn't know that. That would explain why it's so much better than the album's other ballads!

Early Sales Figures Sunday 26/11/06
#3 is still a great position for Emma. It's one of her highest-charting solo singles. And leagues ahead of 'Today' or that Mel C one I forget the name of.

Soundclash! Jlo vs Mariah
Mariah's best song this decade or a song where Puffy calls his then-girlfriend a b**ch? I'm torn. I voted Mariah in the end. Both are great songs.

Don't forget they do Christmas songs in the final. You may get your wish.

I can only think of 'Merry Christmas' photos. Oh and there's the computer animated photos from the re-release. Sorry I can't be more help.

Glitter Survivor - The Final
My favourite song - written by the late Rick James - came third. The big ballad which I don't think ever got more than about one vote per round to be evicted stalled at the last hurdle. 'Lead The Way' finishes in second. So the winner is a cover. A gorgeous piece of 80's pop. A song which perfectly shows that this album is a soundtrack to a film - and not a normal Mariah album. A song which I thought everyone would vote off in the first few rounds. The winner is 'Didn't Mean To Turn You On' Can I please have a volunteer to do the Charmbracelet survivor?

TOMORROW will be remembered as The Day The Music Died.
I don't understand why the Sun are so vitriolic. I like many Oasis songs - I have two of their albums - and I would much rather listen listen to their album than the new Westlife songs. But.... the Oasis album is mainly made up of songs that have all been released before. From albums that all sold over a million. Even the B-sides are from a big-selling album and can be easily downloaded for 80p. The Westlife album is made up of songs that Westlife have never released before. And they released a #1 single ahead of it. It's not surprising they beat Oasis - or a sign that Britain has terrible taste.

X Factor Thread: Week 7
There's usually one from each category left in the final 3. I think Ray's next to go (though PaddyPower books and I have been saying that for weeks)

X Factor Thread: Week 7
I normally don't rate Ben but I thought his 'Your Song' was the best performance of the night. I'm sad that Eton Road went but it wasn't that surprising. Ray did all the right things to get votes (though I think he's creepy as ****) and the McDonalds can't be stopped. Yet.
