Mcfly have done hardly any promotion for this single they have only been on gmtv and CIN Night the video for do ya was only released last week and theres not even a video for stay with me Ithink seeing as they have just sold out arenas on their tour they still have a fanbase

it was allways going to not do well They had only released the video last week they have only done 2 tv/radio performances and nothing coming up the promo for this single has been $h!t

cant see how Mcfly are outselling Take That at HMV Mcfly have no cd offers or signings

my woolworths don't seem to have mcfly's cd ASDA is selling it for £4 and HMV 2.99

I think the fact its not on itunes could be that DO Ya was on the free album maybe? The tour txt downloads are split between the weeks so some downloads will count to the charts from thur 4th Dec Not all the downloads will count in this weeks charts

Mcfly's cd is in adsda,hmv,woolworths as i saw them this morning Theres No cd offer or signings this time around with the lack of promotion and everything i see this single going in at around 13

No Mcfly do write their own songs and Danny from the band produces alot of them in his own studio also with Mcfly everything is down to them well it has been this year as they are on their own record label and for the record yes i am a Mcfly fan but i do like a lot of songs from Oasis

Do Ya is 1 of 3 song's on their new album thats not so muture and that sounds like pasy Mcfly songs all their other songs eg POV,Down goes another one,The last song sound nothing like Mcfly what so ever Do Ya is a fun song and kinda easy to learn think thats why they decided to release it for CIN

iknow Pov is my fav song too DO Ya is one of about 3 songs on the album that sounds like old Mcfly however i see why they have decided to release do ya tbh I think POV will be the next single from Radio:ACTIVE its a fans fav and Mcfly adore the song

BBC PRESS RELEASE BBC Children in Need is delighted to announce that the 2008 Children in Need single will be performed by McFly, who will be donating all profits from the single to the charity's 2008 appeal. This double-A sided single features the track Do Ya, from their current album Radio:ACTIVE, and a cover version of Rod Stewart and The Faces' Seventies hit Stay With Me. Both songs will be performed for BBC Children in Need viewers on BBC One on Friday 14 November 2008. Tom from McFly says: "We're so honoured to be releasing the official single for Children in Need. didn't the spice girls sell very little last year? or is that let off because they are not Mcfly? I know they have poor chart runs and stuff but that was mainly due to the record label now they are on their own they release what they want 'Lies' got a good response and 7 weeks top 75 is good for Mcfly their new album has about 3 old Mcfly sound do ya,smile,one for the radio everything else is a whole new sound their sales/chart runs will get better with the next few single releases im sure

They are the top 75. Do ya is not the best song on the album it's kinda old Mcfly Pov would have been better and i think it could have been a massive hit it sounds nothing like Mcfly at all

i like Do ya but not as a single Mcfly call it the Obviously of Radio:ACTIVE The next single is a toss up between Do ya and Corrupted yea alot of people on the mcfly forums are waiting for xmas
