the man on my local radio station said the same thing as did the guy in the sun(who normally slags them off) yes well it's free so why not i understand some people won't listen to it due to pride

thats the general idea with this new album to be more mature

there are NO txt downloads and they haven't been promoting on tour or at concerts the 3cds for £5 offer has only happend twice and its usually like 2 extra b-sides and a cover this time all they are doing is 3 for £4 but with the cd's you don't get a cover version this time and each cd only has 2 tracks the single and one other track the only download this time is one on i tunes. listen it was their record label(island records) which made mcfly do loads of text downloads and stuff Mcfly are No longer with the label and will now do things a bit different Island records didn't take risks and they played it safe Mcfly have allready started taking risks like giving the album away free.

what annoys me is for years people moaned saying Mcfly play it safe they never take risks and now they are taking a huge risk people still can't shut up I understand people don't like them but it would be nice for people to say 'i don't like mcfly but goodluck to them for taking a big risk'

nope no txt downloads this time not even just one.also with nearly every mcfly single release they do a cover as a bside but this time all the bsides are new tracks.They do have the cd offer at hmv only but i don't see that making much of a differance and there are some signings but not many With this single the whole promotion seems different obviously something to do with them being on their own label now

thats the whole point more money is made by tours then single/albums Mcfly's tours sell out really well anyway Mcfly own the label so all the money goes to them As a mcfly fan i think this could do them some good they don't sing with fake american accents that was Busted.Mcfly have allways said they are british and proud

afew of their songs have done 2 weeks top10 five colours,obviously,that girl,all about you,i'll be ok,please,please,star girl and the heart never lies

Mcfly won't have this so called scam they have not announced any txt downloads and offers and since they are no longer with island records i doubt there will be any i don't see this falling that far in the charts The heart never lies (the last single)did quite well and seemed to hang about on itunes awhille

no the single stays as 14th July the album will be out around mid sept as thats when the 2nd single is due out

don't forget theres an hour-long episode tonight 8pm bbc1(there is no episode thurs and fri)

motion in the ocean has sold over 235,000 that total was before the extra edition release also the Greatest hits album re entered the charts this year and stayed in for about 2months so sales for that has gone up

i've hear it 4 times on the radio allready today

they might not sell much on singles/albums but there tours are allways sellouts last year they did 2 tours 37 small venues and a greatest hits arena tour and all sold out

actually Island offered Mcfly a new contract but Mcfly wanted to leave they'd allready made up there minds back last year to leave Both Mcfly and the label has stated this

that was the label thats one of the reasons for them leaving Mcfly have said they are not rock,indie ect they are still pop but more mature i've heard 5 tracks and none of them saying Mcflyish at all. I think its good that they got away from the label.Yes there sales were low but they made the label a hell of a lot of money thats why they got offerd a new contract with more money. people haven't heard their new stuff yet and allready people are saying its c**p for godsakes its a new sond no indie,not rock but a more heavier pop sound
