I didnt got mad, just angry lol its not your fault i overreacted due to certain situations from some mods here and replied to you with that feeling, sorry about that. i didnt said you combined that, what i wanted to say was that song even if it was a carnival one it had the chance of getting votes in the eurovision like any other, eurovision had plenty of different types of songs, so why being critic to a carnival one? a lot of people like carnival songs, but as you said is your opinion, and i respect it, even not agree with it because for me the song is more the type of lambada with a bit of kuduro. thats a nice song from PAtras Carnival which is a bit of Samba, many people confuses the traditional music of Portugal with Samba saying that Portugal is playing samba when in fact is a traditional music from the north part of the country with a lot of resemblence with samba, I remember this when Portugal took Homens da Luta to Eurovision many called it a Carnival when it have traditional background. this is just a example: c7HXY5oWVRQ ;)

I though it had to do with being in the same continent, but then we have israel which is in middle east. If Australia will join in how about Brazil, or Canada? they are closer and have a lot of european heritage too, I would love to see Cape Verde on it they have plenty of music to offer.

Sabrina and Suzy are tagged as the same type of music most of the portuguese refuses to take to a european show (at least is what they say), but the true is, those songs wins at the crucial moment the national contest, because are easy songs, catchy, cheap and simple, and thats it. Both Sabrina and Suzy songs were composed, arranged and wrote by Emanuel the creator of the tag music of Pimba means all the adjectives I mentioned above.

finally i see some people that share the same thoughts as me, Eurovision supposed to be a festival where each country would take the best of their culture for the show, its annoying when outsiders of our country makes such pressions towards those who refuse to sing in english with the threat of not getting votes, i already stopped worrying with them a very long time ago, they are just outsiders full of ignorance toward a specific country culture mixing everything and not making any sense when discuss about the culture, so i ignore them.
